What Customers Are Saying
The reviews present a mixed sentiment about the product. Many customers found the bulbs to be bright, energy-efficient, and a good value. However, the majority expressed significant concerns about the bulbs' durability and lifespan, with a large number reporting premature failures within a few months of use. The poor quality and short lifespan led many reviewers to conclude the bulbs are not worth the money and they would not recommend them. The consensus seems to be that while the bulbs may be inexpensive, the tradeoff is poor reliability and longevity.

Would RecommendNeeded LED light bulbs for a new house. These were just what I was looking for. Best price I could find too. Don't know about durability yet, since they have only been in the house a little over a week.

LED Lightbulbs
Would RecommendEach of these 6 bulbs have a 3 year warranty - we shall see if they live up to that.

False advertising
I have bought 24+ of these bulbs. Every light in our basement that would normally have a 60 watt incandescent was replaced with these. We were initially impressed with the longevity claims with these lights. However, I wanted to be sure that these were at least exceeding my incandescents or CFL's. Unfortunately, I would say 25-33% (2 of 6 in a box) have failed in less than a year. Some failing as early as 4 months. Some just go dim and never go bright again. Lowe's has been great about ta...

Waste of money........won't last!!!!
Would Not RecommendThese bulbs will die long before the rated bulb life stated. What a waste of money!

Use the warranty
Would Not RecommendI like the bulbs the only problem is that they have a short lifespan. So definitely read the back of the box for the warranty. I have probably taken about 8 or 9 bulbs back. Fortunately I live close to Lowe's and they return the burnt bulbs. I usually just show them my lowes card data for the receipt and they have me grab new bulbs. If you don't mind taking the bulbs back, then the bulbs are great.

Does this make any sense???
Would Not RecommendBought a bunch of these close to a year ago, and was quite impressed with how I could decrease the cost of some of my lighting around the house. These seemed to be an improvement over the cfl's I had been using, and I was thrilled at the reduced price. Well.....not so fast. As others have mentioned in their reviews, the life span of these seems to be pretty short. My fault for not looking at the specs.-- but these bulbs are only rated for 5000 hours. A couple of these from the batch I bought bac...
Great Bulb for the Price
Would RecommendThe bulbs work really well and, at least for me, they do not burn out as fast as incandescent or compact florescent bulbs. That said, they come with a 3 year replacement warranty and you should plan on using it after about a year. Save your receipt.

Not worth it
Would Not RecommendI'm an electronics tech and I know how long LED's should last. I have bulbs repeatedly dying early across multiple fixtures and it's always these. Based on the price, they're cheaply made and giving LED's a bad rap. The brand I used to buy at Home Depot lasted for years without issue at our old house. Truth in you get what you pay for!
Low Life
Would Not RecommendI didn't read the fine print where it says 5,000 hours. I don't think mine last that long. Incandescent last longer than this bulb at 1000-2000 hours. I used this bulb in my garage for maybe 6 hours per month for about 8-10 months. I didn't like the extreme white so I replaced it with some warm white LEDs. My garage door opener incandescent light (1 of 2 sockets) burned out so I used this bulb again but it only lasted 2 months of very intermittent use.
100% Failure within 6 months
Would Not RecommendI purchased nearly a dozen of these bulbs and the first few started to fuse within two months. The remaining bulbs were removed from rooms (bedrooms/living room) and installed into bathrooms, closets, and pantry to reduce the amount of hours the bulbs were on. While this did not reduce the on/off cycles, it did reduce time on and hopefully alleviate heat buildup. All the bulbs failed even after the relocation. I purchased Philips and Feit branded bulbs that were heavier and able to handle up to ...

Disappointed in Early failure
Would Not RecommendI bought 3 packages of bulbs a few months ago. Installed 12 bulbs and 2 have failed after a few months. Disappointed in sure a short life
They are exactly what I was looking for, they provide a high quality light that illuminates the areas I installed them better than the incandescent bulbs they replaced.

Great Color. 3000k is a Win!
Would RecommendI’ve tried them all: 2700, 3000, 3500, 4000, 5000k. Here’s my thoughts: 2700: Replicates incandescent light. For me this is a bit dingy / dirty looking. Too warm. 3000k: Perfect balance for home use bedrooms, kitchen, etc. 3500k: a good bit cooler than 2700. Looks a little clinical / lab for home use. OK for bathrooms, closet garage. 4000k: Looks pure white. Great for garage basement but too clinical looking for living areas 5000k: Too blue for any real use in my opinion. They say i...
Garbage
Would Not RecommendI bought two new ceiling fixtures and a pack of 4 utilitech bulbs. Three of the four bulbs have burned out in less than six months.
