Don't last don't buy

Supposed to last 5000 hours had two burn out in the first month, less than 100 hours

Low Quality LED Bulb

I purchased two boxes of these replacement lights. I didn't even notice, at the time, that they were only good for 5000 hours. No big deal BUT, these bulbs didn't last anywhere even close to 5000 hours. Of the 12 lights that I bought, 2/3 of them failed within 4 to 6 months of light home usage. Not to mention. Before they go out, they blink like a strobe light, until you pull it out, before they die. They made me feel like I was about to have a Grand Mal seizure and then gave me flashbacks of b...

Work great

Not sure why all the bad reviews. I never have a problem or problems with mine and I have had for several years use them alot and still going no flickering or any of the problems on the other bad reviews. GREAT!thing also the bulb doesn't get hot so you can touch it to unscrew it any time!

Don't waste your money.

Although these do provide a better light that those horrible CFL bulbs, they are NOT durable. I bought several of them and replaced all the bulbs in my house. Within a couple of months they began to fail. Not all of them, and not all at once, but repeatedly and steadily. The quality of these bulbs is extremely low.

Easy on the eyes

These light bulbs are great, I love the soft. but bright enough glow in the bed room. I use the White light in the kitchen. I actually dropped an old one I was replacing on the tile floor and it bounced a few times and didn't break.5 Stars

New home build.

We moved into our newly built home one year ago this month. (4/2017). We started out with regular bulbs and as a few shot I replaced them with these utiltech LED bulbs. The bulbs are only in our Kitchen currently and this week I had 2 to burn out. Lowe's was great with customer service and let me exchange for a replacement. But! I bought these for the long life and paid a premium for it. I do not think this product is worth the extra cost, and would suggest that people look into other brands.

I screwed it in and it worked way brighter then my old lights it's been a few weeks and they still work

2 of 4 installed burned out < 4 months

I started to install LED lights throughout my house. Found these while walking through the store. seemed like a great price so I picked up a 6 pack. Installed 4 in my bathroom vanity. within 4 months 2 have burned out. Keep in mind this is a bathroom vanity that does not stay on for long periods of time. These LED lights should last 10 years with this little usage. I have other LED lights in the house that run for most the afternoon and evening and have not had any issues.

We built a new house last October. I bought these bulbs for every fixture in the house. Garage, basement, bathrooms. Everywhere that needed a normal size bulb. I'm going to guess 50ish bulbs. Ive been in the house 6 months and have had to replace about 10 bulbs already. Some are in areas that simply don't get used. Our basement is unfinished and Ive had to replace the stairwell light twice. 2 of the 4 in the master bath. 1 in our very tall garage door opener. 3 in my sons light exhaust fan combo...

Short life

These do not not last long. I installed 8 and 5 have gone out in less than a year.

Trash Bulbs

nearly half of the bulbs I had installed in my home had failed within 6 months of purchase. I went ahead and bought ge and trashed the remainder.

Save your money

Purchased and installed all 6 bulbs in Dec 2016. Only 3 are working!

No reason not to LED

Now that LED bulbs are this reliable, this efficient and this low cost, there's no reason not to switch over all your lights.

Poor quality

I bought 12 of these bulbs to replace the CFLs. Installed 6 in the kitchen overhead, within 2 months 4 of these have gone bad. I know incandescent bulbs use more energy but they at least lasted a year or more and were much cheaper.

Nice light

Save a few bucks on both ends i.e., initial cost and operating cost plus added benifit of very long life.

Low quality bulb, doesn't last, wouldn't buy again

So like many others I bought this bulb to be more energy efficient and reduce our "carbon footprint" at home. It is supposed to last longer than conventional bulbs and reduce your overall cost. WRONG. The bulbs were at least twice as much as a standard incandescent bulb and did not seem to last much longer. They said they had a 5,000 hour life but after just 4 months 2 of our bulbs went out and after 6 months 2 more. I have had these bulbs for 11 months and out of the 6 bulbs only 1 remains...

Cheap light bulbs!!

Bought 20 bulbs on Black Friday(11/25/16). Within one week 6 went bad right away. Within 3 months later two more went bad. Think lowes should look into this brand/product!
