What Customers Are Saying
The overall sentiment towards the product is negative. Many customers reported issues with the pump's durability, including premature failure, motor burnout, short-cycling, and rusting. Would RecommendGreat pressure, well is 300 feet from house, easy to install, doesn't jump when it starts like the old one. Does need a brass female fitting to tie in pvc pipe. Had to go elsewhere to get one. Otherwise a great pump
poor pressure
Would Not Recommendremoved a flotec pump and put this in , both are 3/4 hp but I now have less pressure and the warranty is only 1 year compared to the 3 I could have got by buying another Flotec for less money . my wife had a coupon and picked this up . all I can hope is that it last

Big waste of time.
Would Not RecommendI bought this pump as a replacement. It barely provided enough water to take a shower. It lasted about 26 hours and now has died. I have removed and tested the pump to find it non-operational.
So far so good
Would RecommendSix months after installing, it still runs great. I will update if it fails, but the install was easy and it worked out of the box. (like it should). Easy swap out when you get to the bottom of the pipe.
Submersible well pump
Would RecommendWorks great only time will tell if it holds up the people at the store were great will defiantly keep shopping there.
Piece of Junk
Would Not RecommendPiece of junk. It didn't even last 2 years on a single family home.
looks well built
Would Recommenda good replacement pump I know the frankllin motor will last my old one went twenty years and still ran.this pump is all about the test of time.
got us out of a jam
Would RecommendThis pump was super easy to install and if you look at the other guys pump they are made in china unlike this pump which is at least put together in the U.S.A.! It has a franklin motor which all the big names use.
Headache Trash
Would Not RecommendBought this three weeks ago for our son and daughter in-law for their new home. Placed 350 ft, kept stopping and was pulled out 2 or 3 times. Extremely hard work and frustrating even with expert knowledge and installation. This model should be pulled from the stores - Headache Trash. Three weeks and still no running water. This pump will be going back to the store for sure. Look at the reviews and save yourself the headaches. Do not purchase this submersible well pump.
3/4 hp well pump
Would RecommendHeavy! My brother's well pump die, so I helped him to this new none on a Sunday. I had made a windlass last year when the pump in my 90 foot well burned out, so it came in handy when we first removed his defective pump and them assembled this pump to lower it into his well. When it was in place and wired up, it started pumping strong and has been providing him with an abundant supply of water.Well worth its price!
Seems to be well made (no pun intended)
Would RecommendOnly rated the quality as good because its the first time I used this brand. Feels fairly well built. Doesn't have that cheap feel.Has a Franklin motor which are supposed to be good. Pumps water pretty good from 210'. We'll see how it goes from here.

Worst purchase ever!
Would Not Recommendi purchased 1HP Stainless steel submersible well pump last year 6/11/13. The pump went up again on 7/1/13. Our last pump lasted about 4 or 5 years. The sad part is I didnt get an extended warranty for this pump now I wish I had.
Did not last a year
Would Not RecommendJust quit after less than a years use. Pump is 175' down and no fun to pull and replace. Then had to argue with Lowes about a replacement. Luckily a manager stepped up and took care of things. Let's hope this one works longer.
Has only been in a week but so far it is doing well. We have good pressure and no more cutting off after one load of clothes. I hope it will last 25 years like the last one.
JUNK!
Would Not RecommendInstalled pump on a Saturday and only ran for about 20 seconds and quit. Had to pull pump out again on Sunday and purchased another brand of pump elsewhere. Caused us two days of not having water, back breaking work and lots of frustration. It's a shame we didn't have time to read other reviews before purchasing.
Emergency purchase
Would RecommendI am retired and work a part time job just to help me stay active. I came home on Sunday morning to find we had no water in our home. I get all of my project supplies from Lowe's and that is where I went for a new pump. After 30 years as an electrician and well driller, I knew what to look for and unfortunatly the folks at Lowe's had no clue how to help with selection. The pump has good points and bad points. A Franklin motor is a plus, as all top brands use Franklin. The cast iron discharge end...
