Crooked, twisted, and moldy.
I went through at least 25 or 30 of these 2 x 4's to get the few that I needed - AND I WASN'T AS PARTICULAR AS I COULD HAVE BEEN. So many had splits at one end of the other, scalloped edges, and worst - several were very, very moldy. Black mold. Not good.
