What Customers Are Saying
The 2x4 lumber is generally of good quality, with most pieces being straight, dry, and free of major defects. Many customers were able to easily find suitable boards for their projects. However, a significant number of customers also reported issues with the quality, including warped, moldy, or knot-filled boards. Some felt the lumber was overpriced compared to the quality. Overall, the quality can be quite good if customers inspect the boards carefully, but there is also a risk of receiving subpar lumber.

Great go-to basic 2x4
This is my go-to 2x4 for any projects for my garden or home. I used these to build a treehouse. Sturdy, durable, dependable quality

Reliably great lumber
Would RecommendI always stick with Lowe’s when I have a small framing job, I rarely even look at these boards when I pull them anymore - few cracks, twists or bows

2x4 with a split in the middle
I was delivered to my car a 2x4x8#2 Douglas Fir Kiln dried lumber with a crack in the center of the board that was about 4 ft long and I could see through the other side of the board. I returned the board and went to the back to get a new one. All the boards there were in great shape. I do not know why I was given a crappy board.
