Primed poles are stamped with "paint before installation" in purple ink. Neither soap and water, mineral sprits, or alcohol touched it. Paint doesn't cover it. It took 3 coats of stain blocker primer. What a huge waste of time on a primed post. The company deserves a 1 star review for stupidity.

The post was solid and had a nice coat of white primer on it. It was easy to install to replace an old broken post.

Would RecommendLoad bearing rating @ 5800#√ primed √ bottom must be painted prior to instruction - WHAT?, Well we did, but only the top is cut to fit, the post is primed, so why not do this at factory? It adds a day to the installation time. But, deliver, unwrap, paint bottoms, 1 day shot. They are beautiful though. Mill work could be a little better 2 reasons for 4 stars

Poorly Primed / Too much sanding required.
Would Not RecommendAlthough they were pre-primed, I primed them again and painted them as instructed. The paint peeled off at the wood level, so the factory primer and everything above it peeled off. Worse yet, how hard Lowes made it to return what was now holding up my porch. Common sense went right out the window and it all started with this faulty product,
