Solid construction, good leverage

Solid construction, good leverage. Really effective for our 1 and 1.5 story roofs. For those who complain these freeze in place after use, just extend it a notch from what you were using before storing in the garage, works like a charm.

THe handle itself is sturdy and well made, however the shovel/rake component feel unstable and cheaply made. I would worry about the rake breaking off onto your roof.

Instructions, parts wrong - some assembly req'd

This looks like a function rack - have not used it yet. However, the instructions and hardware do not match with the handle/extension that came with it. The instructions show a three piece pole and comes with "button" type inserts(see photo). My handle was one piece that can be extended by push button and pulling out the oval pipe. Junk. Poorly engineered. Useless.

The rank insert is to large to fit into the pole. I even tried heating thr pole so it would expand.

Just what I was looking for

I wanted a roof rake to get the snow off my roof so my gutters wouldn't freeze and back up into my house. This rake fits the bill.

Works great, but came with no parts

Exactly what the title says.... Works great with parts I assembled to make it work. I emailed the manufacturer about the missing parts, but have not heard back.

Worked well considering it was used on almost 3 ft of snow.

Easy to use

I set this up for my husband, but then ended up doing the whole roof myself. Wicked easy. The telescoping handle was awesome, and helped on different parts of the roof. We are also able to store in the house vs outside due to it being able to get smaller. The plastic shovel itself doesn’t seem super strong, but still really happy with the price point and product.

The overall construction of this snow rake is AWESOME. I had one that had aluminum pieces you connected together, and it was to flimsy. This new one is really solid and is telescopic. And the overall weight is ok

Two winters

Bought this in December 2018. Works great but started cracking after a year. I live in New England and used this pretty frequently. Now it’s December 2020 and I need to purchase a new roof rake as this one is broken in several spots. (Including the pole)

True Temper telescopic roof rake works like a charm. Eliminates ice jams with very little effort. Easy to use and is very durable.

Very good design. Could use an additional section to increase the reach. Purchased a couple of weeks ago after a large snow storm with wind that packed the snow on the roof about three feet deep. Oval profile of the handle gives it good strength, the button indents keep the sections locked even when pulling through wind packed snow.
