This thing is pretty cool. Reached up to my top roof.. super long. Seems pretty sturdy too. Helped clear 23" from our last storm.

Very satisfied with this roof rake

I bought this roof rake to replace an older style one that needs to have the poles assembled every time you want to use it. The telescoping ability makes it SO much easier to use and saves a lot of time. I was really impressed with the build quality. The main handle is very sturdy and has a nice grippy surface coating. Easy reach

Great item to have when you have lots of snow! The ease of reach is great and the lightness makes it easy for one to use!

I had no problem assembling this product. Handling the product is not difficult even not having any snow to really test this product it handles well.

The snow hasnt started flying yet...

As it hasn't started snowing yet, I can not give a review of the product and how it does. But what I can say is that it is very sturdy, and feels very durable. It also has a gritty feel, which I am sure will help keep it from sliding around in your hands as your trying to use it. It does not bend, sway, or flex like the aluminum ones do, and I think I will get many years of use out of this product. Well worth the money I spent on this product!

Excellent snow rake

I picked this up one morning and assembled it right away. I checked the packaging to see if all the parts were there before I left the store. This item came with nylon insert stop nuts so no worry about losing wing nuts. The bolts are long enough to pass Mil spec tolerances. The handle was oval, so that it could be used at an angle. The buttons on the handle extension releases were large enough to be used with gloves on. While sturdy, it was not too heavy to be used at full extension. Liked it!

easy to put together. was the best $50 I spent !

Easy to put together. Fully extended, I was able to clear the snow off half my cape cod roof. With the use of my ladder, I was able to clear the entire roof off ! Lots of ppl in the buffalo NY area are having problems with the snow melting on the roofs and melting, causing ice dam's. I was able to clear the snow off my roof before it lead to that problem. Great purchase for any house that has snow accumulation on it.

My husband loved it

I was lucky enough to catch new supply to get home that my husband used it right away. He loves where the buttons are and they did the job beautifully. Saved my roof!

Makes light work of snow removal from roof

I've been shoveling from a ladder for the past years. Silly me. This rake is sturdy and rugged and drastically cut my cleaning time and no more standing on a ladder with slippery rungs. Follow the easy directions for assembly and you will be up and running in 20 minutes. Highly recommended.

Best Purchase

This rake allowed me to pull down heavy snow while remaining on the ground. Saved me time and possible injury.

Decent for the price

It is decent for the price to get your snow off in a timely manor. It will "bind" in the heavier snow. if you take snow off in layers it works very nice. It seamed to be pretty durable in the light snow but not in any icy type mixture. The unit is light so anyone who is a bit shorter than some will have no problem with it extended all the way. The "rake" part is plastic so one may want to be very careful if using on ice/snow mix. I figure if it does break eventually I can make a new piece out of...

Worth the trip

This was well worth the hour plus that I drove to Lowes in Hadley, MA for. What's so great about it is the telescoping handle that is so easy to keep changing by just pressing a button. As you need to change the length to make the job easier as you work. Very satisfied and happy with the quality of this rake.

I cannot believe I found one

This roof rake was sold out everywhere. On a mission to lowes for some other reason I found them. This lowes received them from some other store without snow. It took some time for me to put it together because I did not have the best tools but once together I used it right away. The telescoping works really well. It is light but sturdy. The 17 foot extension does reach my two story roof without props. The fifty dollars is nothing compared to ice jam damage dollars

Fiberglass Handle (telescopic) Roof Rake

I bought this product skeptically because I thought it would be too heavy compared to my aluminum handled one,,,,but because it does not bend easy,,,it's easy on my back,,,whereas the aluminum one bends and puts a strain on my back. The fiberglass handle is also rough and gives it grip and it also has a good handle on the end which gives me better control of the whole rake. Love it, worth the money.

This Roof Rake has a telescoping handle that is adjustable in length by simply pushing a button to extend or retract the handle length on the fly. No disassembly required once the unit is assembled and stores at a length of about 7 feet. The unit performed extremely well in raking the snow off of my roof. Does it's job.

It's a roof rake and it does it's job. Saved me several times from having to climb up on my roof. As a new homeowner, this was my first winter in this house and I had no idea about the ice dams that would build up. Now I use this roof rake every time it snows. The only issue I've had is that the handle extension section has now jammed and I can only use 2/3 of the height and now can't reach the high roofs on my house. Any tips on unjamming it?
