Works Great
Would RecommendGot this to remove snow from my solar panels. Went together quickly and is just what I needed to clear the snow from the panels. The plastic blade won't harm the panels, per my solar contractor.

strong and light
Would RecommendThis is a good rake to remove thick snow on the roof. It is quite strong with oval-shaped aluminum handle.
Snow Roof Rake
Would RecommendGood product. We used this just this month, when 14 inches of snow fell. Came off the roof nice with the rake.
Long enough for a raised ranch roof.
17 feet is long enough to reach the roof edge on a raised ranch (i.e. 1 1/2 stories), and the the fact that it's extendable and the "rake" head is easily removable makes it easier to stow off-season. The pole is fairly sturdy aluminum; after dropping it fully extended on it's midpoint over a lower roof peak it did not snap as expected but held it's shape well enough to be easily straightened out. BTW, I bought mine at a discounted price online before picking up at store for a significant savin...
Roof rake while safe on the ground
Would RecommendLowe's delivered this in 3 days and I assembled it in 5 min . Pole is adjustable and sturdy. Used on both house and RV . Only downside is you will use muscles that don't get used much so take it easy at first.
Awesome tool
Would RecommendThis roof rake is AWESOME! The telescoping oval aluminum cross section makes it stiff and maneuverable. I have a deck on the back of my house so the rake doesn't need to be as long for that piece of the roof. No problem! Just collapse the bottom section to adjust the length of the rake. The plastic scoop is sturdy and won't dig in and damage your shingles. The scoop assembly can be easily removed via a quick disconnect joint where it slides into the handle. The rake was easy to assemble a...
snow roof rack

Roof Rake Purchase
Would RecommendGreat Product. Length and handle are the best features. Only concern is with the STURDY plastic rake end for long term use. Time and use will tell. Still works great and would recommend!!!!
Roof Rake
Would RecommendI had about 18" of snow on my carport in Payette, Id. the most snow I have seen in my 12 years here. When my carport started to bow in the middle I got scared. I was unable to remove any of the snow so I bought a True Temper extendable roof rake and the assembly was easy and it did the job with no problems. I highly recommend this product to remove snow from your roofs.
GREAT PRODUCT!! WORKS TERRIFIC!!
Would RecommendI live in MI and needed a new roof rake this winter to replace my old one that required each section be inserted to adjust length as needed. Not this one...it has two telescoping extendable handles that allows you to adjust length in seconds and it's so easy! Someone else recently posted that the support bracket for the rake arm came loose plus all the bolts came off and had to install his own hardware with larger bolts. I can tell you, he must not have assembled it correctly and/or didn't tig...
Use Your Own Larger Bolts, and Add A Lock Washer.
Would RecommendI wasn't too certain about how this would work. I was told it was a bit flimsy, but I figured it was worth a shot since i was the only one I could find. So I bought it and assembled it as soon as I got home. Upon first glance everything seemed fine and went together easily. My first use of the rake went smoothly. My second use, not s much. After about 15 minutes of use I noticed one of the support arms hanging off. Apparently there is now a nut and bolt somewhere on my roof. Not only did one nut...
I'd like a couple more feet
Would RecommendI bought this in TC Michigan today. I gave it a try on the front side of my ranch style home. It works. It is sturdy enough to do the job and allow a male of normal strength to lift it and maneuver it. The rake head is made of sturdy plastic and shouldn't damage the coating on my standing rib metal roof. I'll have to use a step ladder to get all the way to the peak of my roof but that isn't a big deal. On the back side where I have a deck, I'll be able to reach to the peak.
What a useful tool!
Would RecommendWorks very well, and I'm on the second season with it. Light enough to use with a stepladder to get a better angle and reach on my roof so I can get about a 15' swath of snow off. Last year I used it to clear about 12" deep snow, this year I started sooner and intend to keep ahead of accumulation.
Blizzard of 2016 - this was the bomb!
Would RecommendWe purchased this the day before the big snow here in MD and it was such a blessing! Drifting snow on our roof made getting our back door open tough, Once we removed the snow it opened just fine. This rake made its way though our neighbors roofs also. As a non athletic female I was concerned about being able to handle the rake when extended but the shape of the handle made it very easy for me. Also let me credit your sales team at the Timonium store. When in line at the register I was tapping th...
Replaces a mankiller
Would Not RecommendThe old roof rake I have is comprised of three 5' aluminum poles and an aluminum rake. When fully assembled it weighs nearly 6lbs and was cumbersome when all extensions were assembled. The metal rake also does a job on roof shingles and gutters. With all the snow we had last season in New England, it was time for a replacement. The True Temper rake is a welcomed improvement. Easy to assemble and well constructed. Although it doesn't weigh much less, the telescoping extension feature is thought...
