What Customers Are Saying
The trimmer head is described as effective at cutting through grass and weeds, with many users praising its performance and ease of use. However, several customers report that the trimmer blades wear down quickly, especially when used on hard surfaces, leading to frequent and expensive replacements. Some also note the trimmer head can be difficult to control and does not provide as smooth a cut as a traditional string trimmer. Overall, the product seems to work well for many, but the short lifespan of the trimmer blades is a common complaint.

Would RecommendBig yard fence shed and a corner lot. Did it all worked like a champ. Don't know what these others are complaining about?
Uses only flat line(s)
Would Not RecommendUses specialty flat line available thru their brand only. Not any stronger that string trimmers which uses line that is must less expensive.

Add on Trimmer
Would Not RecommendI thought it would be nice to have a multi-use tools with blower and trimmer attachable to the same motor driver. Blower works great. Trimmer had a limited amount of string one could put in it and required replacement even for one lawn mowing. Switched the head to the time trimmers. They, too wore out in mome trimming. Hear hard to remove. Finally decided to replace my old Stihl trimmer with blades and it works fine. My lawn is less than a 1/34 acre yet the string or tines wore out before on...

Replace the head asap
Would RecommendBought this after my TroyBilt lower unit broke. I went through the included blades too quick for my tastes, so went back to Lowes and bought a Shakespear trimmer head and swapped it out easily. The lower unit lasted 3 years and the head is still good. Switch out the stupid Aero head and you will eliminate the problems.
Really disappointed
Would Not RecommendI liked the idea of not having to deal with stringing a trimmer but this concept doesn't work. The aero-blades don't cut as well as a string trimmer and they don't last. After one session of trimming a half acre lot with only a few borders (fence and pavers), it was time to replace the blades. On the bright side, I liked the orange bottom guide but I'l be returning this attachment.
Aeroflex no good
Would Not RecommendThe basic attachment is good, but when they let Aeroflex con them into installing their cutterhead, they made a big mistake. The blades load the engine so much it couldn't attain full speed. Then the cutters don't last any longer than plain line, and at $10 for 4 sets it's ridiculously expensive. So after spending $20 more than I could have for an equivalent attachment at the other big box store, I spent another $12 for a string head to use 0.080" line - which won't infinitely better. Makes you ...
BETTER THAN A GINZU
Would RecommendIt slices, it dices, it is 100x better than any line trimmer. The trimmer blades last 4x as long as any line.

This Trimmer Sucks
Would Not RecommendThe Aero Flex blades won't even last through one good lawn trimming. It makes the cost of trimming ~$2 for the blades. Very poorly thought out product that should not be sold with the current advertisements. These are awful. Anyone had any luck putting a replacement head on these?
blades brakes too easy
Would Not Recommendclassic case of selling a cheap attachment but OVERCHARGING for dare I say the worlds worst weedeater blades on the market. I can't begin to explain how frail they are and what's even worst is that you cant just replace the head on the attachment because you will soon find out that no bolts will fit at the rotor end where the head attaches...This is a classic example of a consumer trap.
the cutting tabs wear down too easily
Would Not Recommendthe cutting tabs wear down too easily. If they wold last longer I would rate this a good product. Went thru 2 sets in 15 minutes.
Don't buy!!
Would Not RecommendAfter my craftsman straight shaft broke I bought this to replace it. Put it on and within two seconds of running the whole bottom came off! Went and tightened it and started again. The price you pay would think you would get a lot of replacement line... No just a few. Have a smaller yard and the lines were worse than regular line! Could not even finish one side of a small fence without the line breaking.... Total Junk!!! Returning it ASAP!
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY
Would Not RecommendNot sure why anyone would develop this product unless they just want us to buy their expensive plastic strips. I tried it with the 4 strips as recommended. However, I had very little control and all of the strips wore down quickly. After trying it with two strips; I had better balance and control; however, it would not cut through my grass when edging, forcing me to rev up the engine resulting in quicker wear on the plastic strips. I can see that this could be a large investment for my tight ...
Not a good buy.
Would Not RecommendThis attachment works fine. But the plastic blades are not long lasting at all! I am returning mine to Lowes. I did not manage my front yard, the blades wore out too quickly. It is too costly for new blades. It would probably be better if the blades were wire.
aero flex sucks
Would Not Recommendthe special blades break too easily cant do my trimming on 1 set. and i cant figure out how to remove the head so i can put on a better one
Waste of Money
Would Not RecommendThe blades snap if you are trimming along chain link fence. If you are trimming the edge of grass the blades disappear if you touch the concrete. The one positive was that when I was working in a weeded / wild growth area the blades cut through everything smoothly, better than just string. So unless you are cutting mainly overgrowth, don't waste your money.
AeroFlex blades are TERRIBLE!!!
Would Not RecommendI bought this to replace a curved trimmer attachment when the trimmer head broke. I had high hopes for the AeroFlex blades, believing the advertising when it said they lasted longer than twine. It may last longer than .065" twine, but not a decent .095". With my old trimmer, which used a Shakespeare four-twine head, I could generally make it all the way around the yard on one set of strings. Not so with the AeroFlex, I was having to replace the blades a little over half-way through. Afte...
Good product.
Would RecommendNeeded this part due to my carelessness and breaking the shaft on my existing trimmer. This worked like a charm and I love that I didn't have to buy a whole new unit.
