What Customers Are Saying
The trimmer head is described as effective at cutting through grass and weeds, with many users praising its performance and ease of use. However, several customers report that the trimmer blades wear down quickly, especially when used on hard surfaces, leading to frequent and expensive replacements. Some also note the trimmer head can be difficult to control and does not provide as smooth a cut as a traditional string trimmer. Overall, the product seems to work well for many, but the short lifespan of the trimmer blades is a common complaint.

Would RecommendThis Aeroflex model works perfect on my Craftsman trimmer head. The shaft fits in perfectly. I use it for heavy, tall grass around my neighbor's tree and also at the curb in front of out house. Really does a great job. I might have to replace the blades when I'm done. The plastic blades aren't cheap, but trim better than the string in this instance.
almost the solution
Would RecommendThe device may be installed on the string trimmer with an angle that is good for edging ,but the plastic cutters don't lasy very long. One can substitute nylon ties ,but I haven't tried that yet.

Keep walking.
Would RecommendI tried this thinking since the blades were easily replaceable and "durable" it might be a good option. Unfortunately I found out that the blades are made of a cheap rubber and break easily. the head also broke in 1 day. It you are thinking about this item, my suggestions is to Keep Walking. It isn't worth the time or trouble.
Don't waste the money
Would Not RecommendBlades are expensive and had to be replaced after less than half the yard. Poor cutting quality.

Would Not RecommendThe blades and their replacements wear down very quickly. I wish they were stronger and did not wear so easy. They are however easy to change.

Plastic blades VS. Trimmer Line
Would Not RecommendGlad that my Craftsman trimmer is able to accept the "universal" attachments. When the line inside of my original trimmer head failed, I found this to replace it. I like the bottom disk to help keep a uniform cutting height. The weight is just fine with my hand held unit, with proper balance like the original head had. Putting everything together was a snap. Only bummer ~ the blades are NOT CHEAP. They claim that they last longer than the trimmer line, but I have already gone through the sets ...

Don't buy this attachment...
Would Not RecommendI purchased this replacement ez link string trimmer attachment with this aero blade design reluctantly at Lowes since I could not find my original trimmer attachment at any box store. I took it home and only was half way done before all of the blades had broke. I don't see how that is beneficial to replace these blades every 1/4 acre. I returned the next day and ordered a OE replacement ez link unit online the next day..

Beats heck out of a string trimmer
Would RecommendI hate string trimmers. Originally I just bought an Aeroflex head to replace the string head, but to my great annoyance, it fit all Troy-Bilt trimmers EXCEPT mine, so after a frustrating non-installation session, I finally bought the TrimmerPlus attachment and ate the cost of the Aeroflex head. Works great. Negative reviews are likely from people that just don't use it right or it doesn't work for their type of job. Running it at slower speeds helps conserve the blades and still cuts through th...

Don't waste your money
Would Not RecommendBought this after viewing videos on the Aeroflex website showing it plowing through heavy grass, as I have a shallow ditch along one side of my property that is mower-inaccessible. Began in some thin areas to get a feel for it and it did ok, but as soon as I hit heavier stuff all 4 of the blades immediately snapped off! Got the brush cutter out and finished the job. The next week I decided to try it for regular work after replacing the blades, nothing heavy, just long wispy grass around my shed....

Worst product ever
Would Not RecommendThis product was the worst ever. The guard trimmed the strips and the weeds ate the plastic. The design was poor. I guess they should have tested this product more before they put it to market.

Aero Junk
Would Not RecommendMy old weedeater attachment broke so I went looking for a new one. I shifted away from fishing line to plastic blades several years ago with great satisfation. When I bought this attachment it came with the new AERO plastic blades, so I figured why not give them a try. What a waste of my time and money. The first set worked fine but from that point forward they snapped off very quickly or simply flew out of the attachment. Needless to say, I went back to the plastic blades and won't buy the AERO...
