Blades don’t last

This product is worthless. I usually use .095 line and have had a 750’ spool for years and not gone through it. I saw this product and thought I would give it a try since it seemed like it would save me the trouble of re-spooling line. I have a .5 acre lot and I used 8 blades on 2/3 of the lot. Only two short sections have chain link. The 100 pack of replacement blades are twice as expensive as a 750’ spool of line and will definitely not last as long. Aeroflex blades

These are hard to find. I prefer the AeroFlex blades to string.. Works great.

Easy to use, but blades could last longer

Likes: Very easy to assemble and very easy to install and operate Dislikes: The plastic blades lasted less than one full use for my yard, and I am already on the second set that came with the attachment. I feel if they are only going to last that short amount of time that more replacement blades should come with the unit

String is better

This was kind of a waste of $$. The unit grabs the grass and digs in the lawn. I have concrete edging and cutting the grass short where it meets the concrete is when it grabs. Edging at the street I need to put the unit on edge (cutting vertical) and it pulls into the lawn. I had to correct and straight edge the grass with the string trimmer. Some may like it, but for my use, going back to the string. Disappointed!

trimmer head sux!!!

It is sad when you spend this much money and have to get a new head the next day because they have “special” trimmer string and can’t use the full spool of string you got last year!!!

Messy

If you like grass clippings on you from head to toe, this is for you. It trims the grass fine, but no matter which direction I went, I was covered in grass clippings. Grass was ecen thrown up as high as 5’ on my exterior wall. The guard is different than what I see in the picture, but the one it came with was useless and did not deflect the clippings well at all.

I needed a new weed wacker attachment since the head on the original was smashed, so I got this. I didnt care much about the straight arm attachment because my original was curved, but I have grown used to it. Another thing I was kind of excited about was the “no more lines”. The old head kept getting the line tangled inside of it making yard work more of a chore than a release mechanism, however; the new blades (I forgot the technical term) get worn out easily - especially near concrete and asp...

string trimmers work better and are cheaper to use

So I bought this because my old trimmer atachment was wore out i gave it a try in my yard and even slowing down my rpm’s by atleast half the plastic cutters only lasted a short period of time. With the cost of the cutters at about 12$ for enough to change 4 times it would cost me about 18 to 21 dollars every week to weed eat my property and that is insane. I ended up buying a new head to put on the new shaft to finish up the yard.

Do not buy this attachment

I bought this attachment in May for my less than 5,000 sq ft lawn. The plastic head broke yesterday. I haven’t even replaced the string yet. I would not recommend this attachment to anyone, nor the edger attachment that broke also.

Very Fragile Aeroblades

Don't count on these blades to last at all if you have chain or wire fence to trim under or around. I have gone through two sets of these things going around a fenced .6 acre fence.

Not worth the money

Luckily, I did not purchase this trimmer head for the Aero-Flex feature. I needed a new trimmer head for my 10-year-old trimmer. I decided that I wanted to go with an Echo speed feed 400 but needed this head to mount it to. I decided to try out the blades that came with this head since they were part of my purchase.
