Would RecommendThe Westsail 32 has a class problem with a leaky hull deck joint. The leaks are so pervasive in these old boats that glassing the hull/deck joint is the only long term cure. Unfortunately, the fiberglass is the easy part. Fairing and painting the top off the bulwark, after the fiberglass is done, is the time consuming job. Total fair produces a surface with fewer pin holes than the West System 410; ready for primer and paint.

Great product
The Westsail 32 has a class problem with a leaky hull deck joint. The leaks are so pervasive in these old boats that glassing the hull/deck joint is the only long term cure. Easy to handle, apply, and sand
Would RecommendPretty good product overall. The 1hardener, one yellow and the other blue, makes the mixing very easy. Best to wait at least 12 hours before sanding - such is moderately easy with a good sander. The only weak point is that the compound has a tendency to have small air bubbles when applied. So one has to be careful to really push the mixture down.
