What Customers Are Saying
The product is a simple and effective mouse trap that has received mixed reviews. Many customers report it successfully catching mice, praising its ease of use. However, some have experienced issues with the trap's spring strength and bait being taken without triggering the trap. Overall, it seems to be a reliable and affordable option for dealing with mouse problems when used correctly, though it may not be perfect.

Would RecommendI have killed several mice with these traps and reused them multiple times.
Best trap ever
Would RecommendI have a mouse problem in my garage and i have been using, to no avail, regular mouse traps. Each night it's like i'm feeding the mice their favorite food, peanut butter. They lick it clean and have yet to kill one. I saw a video on this trap and saw how there was a lever that you could move to (s) sensitive and i did all of my traps like that. I put a little peanut butter on it and caught 2 the first night, then one more. It works so well i'm stocking up on them. Thank you tomcat!
Waste of money
Would Not RecommendI bought a 4 pack and all traps were tested before setting. 2 out of the 4 would not trip properly even though the bait pan was pushed all the way to the trap. I would stay with Victor!!

Ants not mice
Would RecommendI've used these traps with 100% satisfaction that was ants that ate the peanut butter off the traps you have a infestation of ants also. I have had the same problem with ants eating the bait.
Don't waste your time
Would Not RecommendWatched a beady eyed little bugger eat the peanut butter right out of the trap. No snap. I swear he was mocking me. The trap was set to the "S" (more sensitive) side. I'm hoping out of the sheer number of traps I set (20 in a field stone basement) at least one goes off and gets him and all of his little buddies.
Cheaply made product
Bought a set of four traps two of which broke while setting don't waste your money spend a few extra dollars to get a better quality product .

Simple and effective!
Would RecommendBack in the day, Victor made this small mouse trap with the metal trigger and the yellow plastic trigger. The metal trigger traps were crap, only one sensitivity setting! The ones with the yellow plastic " cheese looking" trigger traps had a "sensitivity" setting and you could set them to go off if you blew on them. These TomCat traps are just good. I live in a high mice area and catch 3-5 a night.. the TomCat traps have very strong springs, I use 30 or so around the ranch, have had them for yea...
Feeding the mice.
Would Not RecommendTraps never snapped. Had 4 set and all four licked clean of peanut butter. I guess the manufacturer wants to to fatten the mice up first so they are easier to kill with a broom.
Bought once. Was great. Bought 3 more products. Is physically impossible to set. Poor quality controll on the spring latch mecasinism for a "quality p
Sucks! Won't buy again! Is impossible to set. Will never buy again. Almost broke my fingers

It works for me!
Would RecommendAll the traps fired. I had no misses! The traps are plenty powerful to kill mice!
serial mouse killer
Would RecommendThese things are perfect and cheap, just a very little peanut butter and they cant resist!
awful, inhumane
I've tried these traps with the fake cheese and they DO NOT kill the mouse. They maim it. So then I have to figure out a way to put it out of it's suffering. ( and I'm a woman animal lover. Those fake cheese things only cushion the metal snapper and prevent the mouse from getting killed fast. You should know that by all the bad reviews you are getting.

Awful
Would Not RecommendIn the package of 4, I had to throw 2 away because the springs wouldn't hold. A total waste of money.
Didn't work
I used two of these traps, the first one caught a mouse in the correct spot (behind the head) but did not kill it. I threw that trap away after putting the mouse out of its misery. I then tried adjusting the spring on the second trap to make it "snap" a little tighter. Caught a mouse, still didn't kill it. Having lived out in the country most of my life, I've used many mousetraps and most kill instantly. Not sure what is going on with these traps, but I hate having the mice suffer.

Dose not kill
Would Not RecommendThis trap is so weak the mouse would not die. It suffered so long I had to put it out of its misery.

Does exactly what they're intended to do
Would RecommendReading negative reviews almost unfortunately lead me to buying other-more experience traps. I can say I'm happy I gave these a try. Easy to set, cheap, and come with 4 per pack. I like the tray compared to other basic trapa as it allows you to smear the peanut butter on to it and it fills the holes making the mouse have to work for the bait aka setting it off not allowing the mouse to clean the trap clean. I put peanut butter on my finger and smeared it on the bottom of the tray (using only a ...
Doesn't kill them
Would Not RecommendThese traps just don't work well. While I don't mind killing the mice in general, I also prefer not to have any animal suffer. These aren't strong enough to kill the mice. They struggle for quite a while. Victor brand are MUCH better.
Mice are loving my peanut butter
Would Not RecommendBought a new place and found evidence of mice. Bought traps and baited with yummy organic peanut butter. Next day the traps are licked shiny clean and no mice have been caught. This is not the brand of trap you want. If had read the reviews I would have gone with the Victor brand and not wasted my time and money.
