Great Product, But Doesn't last very long

We Bought this product in 2014. It worked very well for first 8-9 months. My wife just loved using it every week. But suddenly, for some reason it stopped producing Steam. Water doesn't get heated up at all now. Not sure what the problem is. We can not find any parts for this product, so basically we may have to just throw it away.

TRIGGER BROKE ON BOTH MY STEAMERS!

bought 3 steamers . They worked excellent at first , until a month into using them the trigger broke! So , I decided to just buy another . Used it for a couple of weeks and still had the same problem, the trigger broke off also. I spent a fair amount of money on these products and for them just to brake . NOT HAPPY

I have had my Swifter Bissell for almost 5 years and during that time I LOVED IT. Other Swiffers* I've had in the past their handles broke, I problbly changed them out 3-4 times per year. When I purchased the steam boast swiffer* I did not experience that problem, when the handle broke last October I didn't complain, since I had gotten 5 years use out of my swiffer*. Bad Craftsmanship

I am very fond of the concept of the steam mop it is just the craftsmanship of this item is not good at all. This is the second one that I have purchased that the steam trigger on the handle has broker. The rest or the mop still works, but the trigger does not. It is not fixable either and I did not have either of them very long. I am going to say that it is not worth the money.

Wish it had lasted longer

I use all of Swiffer products and love them. Bought the Swiffer Steam mop about 3 months ago and also was pleased with it until today when the trigger that initiates the steam broke. It is not repairable and I can't afford to buy another one. Swiffer needs to redesign the handle.

Cloths come loose if you scrub ...

I'm hoping for improvements to this mop/cloth system. The cloths won't stay anchored to the mop when I scrub my floor with any pressure. Tucking in the corners does not make the cloth very stable. But it does cause the cloths to rip occasionally when I try to remove them after use.

Broken Trigger

Honestly really liked the steam mop. It worked very well and left the floors looking great, until the trigger broke. I was really surprised and a disappointed, since I used this steam mop only on occasion. The two plastic pieces acting like a pivot had snapped off inside, while in use.

Good until it broke

I used it once and it worked great on my tile and wood floors, but the next time the trigger broke rendering it unusable. Rather bummed out, this was my first foray into Bissel products, I used to have a Hoover that I was trying to replace with this.

Disappointed

I was in love with my mop for the first 6 months until the trigger broke. I expected a mop to last longer with only occasional use. I repair electronics for a living and have just took apart the handle. There are two small plastic knobs that have broke off of the trigger where it should slide and be held in place inside the handle. I love this product, at first!

I had the swiffer steamer for about two months, I bought it when I moved in my new place. Up until yesterday it was working really good. It isn't working at all just turning on and not steaming or nothing. I had the same problem with my wet jet stopped spraying out. I didn't think I'd need a warranty/save my recites. I'm about done purchasing swiffer products if they only last a month or so.

This product is cheaply made and didnt hold up to even normal usage. The supply line for the water broke at the bottom. This wasn't even a year old. Good thing is the trigger works

Trigger broke after about 18 months. Just got off the phone with Bissell. They are making this right by mailing us a voucher for a new mop. Disappointed in the product, but good on Bissell for replacing it. Looking forward to receiving the voucher.

Waste of money.....how disappointing

I've had my Swiffer Bissell for about 6 months now. I have used it maybe 4 times ....I alternate with another device....and now it's stopped producing steam. Doesn't even get warm. All it does is leave a mess of water on my floors. What a waste of money. Disappointed in what I thought would have surely been a win-win situation; two great brands combining to make one awesome product.

Complete waste of money!

I only used this 3 times and the tube that takes the steam to the mop head snapped in two. Now I'm stuck with an over priced dust collector. Not sure if I want to toss it or try to fix it. Complete waste of money!
