Would RecommendIf you REALLY need a 4 foot straight edge, then buy it. But this 6 foot model is far more practical. Keep the clear plastic on it as long as you can. When that falls off, apply clear tape to prevent scratches. That also lets you put temporary marks on the tape. Put a strip of masking tape down the middle for more permanent marks. This tool will be around a long time so take care of it. You won't find them at flea markets.

Ruler use
Would RecommendMay sound funny but this is the perfect putting tool. Place the golf ball on the ruler and putt it down the middle. Works on putting stroke and head alignment.
