Would RecommendPerfect tool to maintain a straight line cut on both a vertical and horizontal trim needed on a damaged utility soft rubber mat. Made it look brand new.

Would Not RecommendToo floppy to be a straight edge. I liked that they labeled the metric side in mm so much that I didn’t realize they put it on so youre forced to measure using the bottom which isn’t fun to do so I never use it. Unfortunate. It’s fine if you’re using inches.

Would RecommendPurchased this for straightening my fabric. Excellent size and, as another suggested, check edges for straightness in store. Light weight and large numbers. Metal won't warp from humidity like a wooden ruler will. Great price, too!

Would Not RecommendPurchased to act as a straight edge while ripping plywood and it had a pretty significant warp about half way down the ruler. Triple check in the store before buying if you truly are wanting a straight edge.
