Great for adding t-slots to old metal flange

My mother-in-law had a 14' rough in and an old metal flange on a cast iron pipe. The existing flange only had 2 screw holes for the toilet bolts and one of the bolts unscrewed when I removed the old toilet. The other wasn't moving and snapped off when I tried to twist with the vice grips. Old toilet flange was almost rusted away. This Super Ring was just what I needed. Did the job with little fuss and no major problems. Great product!

Great value and great replacement

Quality replacement part. Better than cast replacements wider outside diameter than standard.

Real part does not match picture. Has bent up flanges that make it impossible to align with existing ring for bolts. Needed to cut off the flanges but just ended up getting a different model without flanges. Would work great to add additional support during original installation but not for repair.

Best ever

Heavy duty material easy to anchor over an existing ring. I know I'll be long gone before this ring deteriorates!

Wrong part for me

I purchased this with the intention of replacing a broken plastic toilet flange. The directions said to cut off the old flange and use this one. This was more work than I intended. I found ears that fit on the sides of the broken flange and used them instead.

Great idea

Love it, it was so much easier to install than replacing a PVC closet flange (cutting the ceiling out downstairs and cutting it off and replacing it) so I would definitely suggest this to any one who has a toilet that rocks doe to a broken flange. It is extremely easy to install but in hindsight I suppose I should have used stainless screws instead of steel but I guess we will see how long they last because it is not hard to repair just a thought for others to think about first.

Just what was needed

When replacing a 44 yr old toilet, I found the builders had boxed the soil pipe in loosely. There was excess movement in all directions. The weight of the commode was all that was holding it stationary. This bracket was exactly what was needed for a permanent repair. The bracket seemed to be robust enough to last a long time. However, the ones offered @ my local Loews have only 4 mounting ears instead of the 6 pictured.

No more wiggle, no more jiggle

Great for fixing broken cast iron flanges

I had a problem installing a new toilet during my recent bathroom renovation. The old toilet was never taken care of by the previous home owners and the left side toilet bolt was corroded and snapped off leaving the toilet off balance and the sewer gases coming up once in a great while.
