You will need to knockout holes for the hinge.

Bolts for the hinge are too short. Instructions for hinge can be hard to follow.

Great exterior stoage

Easy to put together and lots of exterior storage.

Don’t buy it!

Very poor quality. One half the hardware was missing. Closure pistons are cheap plastic. The closure device on the front don’t even come close to touching. It’s definitely not water resistant let alone water proof. Very disappointing.

Good for what I needed it for.

after two years, the left hinge piston ripped away from the plastic side panel hole. Not sure if the wind blew the cover open or just from wear and tear. At first I thought the box was garbage but after further inspection I realized if I switched the side panels with each other, it had the same new mounting holes to attach the piston to. Good as new. Hopefully I get at least another two years out of it. I would recommend using a small clip or bolt to secure the top.

Hit or miss - new hints springs are kind of cheap

Have two of these bought a few years apart. First one has hydraulic pistons for the lid and the thing is solid. Closes and stays closed with no water egress. Box number two has cheap plastic springs. Box is warped as backside is bowed out. I guess I should call Vendor and see if the can resend a part. The changes in hinges was a disappointment.

Produt don't stay firm and won't closed properly .

Hinges are not stronge and as soom my wife packed the patio pillows it expanded and hing got broken on right side . material are too soft and edge don't close evenly when close top door ...

OK but doesn’t seal.

Decent price and fairly sturdy. But it does not seal so we will have to figure out a way to keep mice out.

Poor quality, broke after 9 months of light use

Hinges broke through the plastic siding after only 9 months of very light use (we store outdoor furniture pillows in the box). Very disappointing product.

Manufacturer responsive to product failure

After 3 hours of assembly the plastic side cracked at the bolt hole for the joint. The manufacturer sent a replacement part within one week. Now the unit works fine and appears to be water resistant

Perfect size to store my cushions from the weather. Great quality. Highly recommend.
