Assembly instructions could be better.

This is our 2nd container. 1st one finally died because of salt air. This one is a better construction. We will see how it hold up to the elements. Only issue i had was assembly. Pictures & verbage could be better.

Worse than first thought.

I wrote a review prior to this regarding this product that I did not have high hopes. At the time I gave it 3 stars because it's nice. Well...One month into having it, the lid blew up and pulled the rams out of the cheap plastic. Now I need to jerry rig it to work again. I am completely disappointed with this product as it seems this could be avoided by maybe spending an additional 1.00 in production cost to reinforce that hinge. I don't even know if the warranty would cover it because I ca...

Storage Container

Very nice and large. Seems sturdy, we have not put it outside yet. It states its waterproof, we will find out in the spring when we put our furniture back out.

This is the best storage unit for all your deck items like cushions and such. Keeps everything clean and dry. I thought it was super easy to put together! Love it!!

I have little hope for this to last.

Easy to assemble until you get to the hinges, the instructions are of little help and it's basically a wing and a prayer you got it right. That being said I did get it right and it came together fine. It looks good and seems sturdy until you open and close it. The rams put too much pressure on the metal brackets which are screwed into soft plastic. While I opened and closed a few times with no problem, you ca see the stress on the plastic, it's going to fail and then I'll have to rig somethin...

Cheaply made

[Employee of lowes] I bought a similar model from this company years ago and it is wonderful. The new model is terribly cheap, made of thinner material that doesn't go together securely, and the "shocks" are just plastic tubes with springs in them. I would not recommend this purchase for anyone who needs a sturdy garden box for storage. Also, the lock hasp is metal, but the plastic that it fits through is thin and would not prevent even a small child from opening the box.
