What Customers Are Saying

The Studor Mini-Vent Air Admittance Valve is a plumbing solution that helps eliminate odors and improve drainage. Many customers report it effectively solves issues like slow drains and sewer gas smells. The valve is easy to install, fits both 2-inch and 1.5-inch pipes, and provides an affordable alternative. However, some users experienced problems with the valve not working as intended, leading to continued drainage issues or even increased odors. Overall, the valve seems to be a good option when traditional venting is not feasible, but customers should be prepared to try alternative solutions if it does not fully resolve the problem.

This little vent worked great and solved the problems with Oder we had. It was easy to install.

Works great just $4 more than oatley

Would Recommend

Works fine just wish it were cheaper. $24 for a vent was a little steep. The oatley counterpart was cheaper but didn’t fit into the recessed wall box otherwise I would have bought it.

Packaging Needs Improvement

The packaging doesn't give you a good description of what the adapter comes with. I thought it had a 1.5 inch connector, I was wrong it comes with a 2 inch but it doesn't say it anywhere on the package.

Works better than the black generic vent

Would Recommend

We recently remodeled our kitchen including the sink and plumbing. When looking for a good vent this was the one we chose vs. the plain black model with one hole in it. It works well in the kitchen that we replaced the vents in the bathrooms and have been very happy with them.

Vent

Would Recommend

These studor vents really get you out of a bind when you have no way of piping a vent out through the roof. All Plumbing fixtures need a vent to drain properly.

Not a great fit

Would Not Recommend

This product was made to be able to fit where I needed it in my RV with the use of adapting connection pieces, but it still didn't prevent back-odor from my gray tank.

Works well at first...

Would Not Recommend

Purchased this AAV for under my kitchen sink. Worked excellent for first 8 months, then water started to drain slowly from sink. I took the P-trap apart, then then used a snake to clean residue from the rest of the plumbing line. No improvement. Then I unscrewed the AAV from the base, problem solved. Not sure if this was just an outlier, but I'm not happy with the quality.
