Accurate tape measure

Their latest tape measure had a rocker switch that unless pressed will not allow the tape to freely retract, no more tapes coming at you at Mach 10. The tape measure will not automatically retract unless you press this button.Gone are the days when you forget to lock the tape and it retracts before you get the best measure. Awesome Tape Measure

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a lot of tape measures, some cheap and some expensive. I have a Stanley that's older than I am, and I still use it. The Stanley DualLock is by far the best measuring tape I own. The feel of the tape itself is good, and it has a nice, smooth glide to it. And the tape automatically locks when you pull it out, eliminating the frustration of having a tape snap back on you just as you get it into place. The tape is also very easy to read....

Great Tape Measure!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very sturdy feel to it, yet not too heavy to hold. Has a nice rubber grips where you grasp it. You can pull out about 7ft of tape before it collapses. The DualLock feature is great, you can pull out as much tape as you need without having to fuss with it reeling back in on itself or trying to lightly tension the lock while pulling.

Great Features locking tape measure

Sliding out the blade stays in place then the ability to lock it with the thumb lock works for me. It has fractions all along the tape is easy to read. 25 Foot Dual Lock Tape Measure

The operation is nothing but nice. The unlock is right there under your thumb. I have an issue with the tape, it is a continuous run of numbers, this may be an issue when you are trying to measure feet and inches. Has auto tape lock with a well placed control to release lock or to apply a secure lock to tape. blade has a mat finish with very legible markings in 1/16th inch increments. I like that it slides out and stays and then can be released or locked. This makes long runs so much easier to do alone. The case is very strong. The fractions being marked make it easy to see the measurement without having to count the hash marks. New improvements on an old reliable tool.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using Stanley tape measures for years. It was nice to see the increments printed on the tape measure which helps you to read when your eyesight is not as good as it was. Built solid and I like the locking tab.

Great Tool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] One can never have too many tape measures. The 25' DualLock is great. It is ideal for most projects: good size, adequate length, and easy to read. The lock button holds very well while you mark the length, and the tape retracts easily when unlocked.

The durability of the tape has shown to be great after being dropped from a height of about fifteen feet and the blade being run over by a vehicle when it was laying across a driveway I was measuring. Top of The Line Tape Measure

It allows you to extend the tape without it getting pulled back. The tape is made stiff allowing you to extend the tape ten feet out. Dropped one star because it is imported.

Positive lock of tape

I really like the dual lock that holds the tape where you put it. I would have liked to have the end of the tape to be magnetic and maybe a little larger so it would not slip off what your measuring
