Sturdy and Hardworking

When you pull out the metal tape measure, it's made of quality material. It holds its shape for quite a distance, where others collapse at about three feet. The dual locks are easy to use. I REALLY LIKE THIS TAPE MEASURE

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Most tape measures are spring-loaded.....so when you pull the tape out you have to hook the end to something.....or hold it with a finger......with this unit the tape stays extended until you retract it with the handy thumb button.... Tape markings are clear and easy to read.....fractions between inches an interesting addition not seen on most tapes.....but I prefer inch markings between each foot mark.... All-in-all an excellent tape measure...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've always thought it would be great to have controlled retraction for when you didn't want to pull in all the tape at once or have the wild action that retracting 25 feet of tape can produce. The Tru-zero hook and Fractional blade graphics make measuring much easier and more accurate. Nice work Stanley!

Very Good but needs Center Measurement

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the 25ft DualLock and loved the fact it has an easy to use locking mechanism for the tape itself. One thing I wish it had that would make this perfect is a center measurement like their other STANLEY STHT30758L Center Read Tape has. Unfortunately, on the tape itself, the markings in one spot for about 5 inches is smeared and unreadable but I don't expect it a common thing with this line.

Very easy to use

Great Tape

Nice Design and Feel.

The case fits nicely in the palm of your hand, with the lever easy to operate with the thumb. A nice improvement on the release button is the is the feature which allows you to either lock the tape so it will not retract, or unlock it so you can adjust the tape by hand.

Perfect tape for new or infrequent users

Excellent weight

Seriously solid tape measure

25ft DualLock is a great Tape Measure

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The feel of this Tape is fantastic even with gloves on. I especially like the toggle retraction as most of my tapes end up in the dirt at some point and the slide mechanism on my other Tapes always ends up sticking. Not having to worry about that issue with this one. Great features and easy to read.

Good Tape Measure

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I only had the tape measure a few days before asking to write this review. Overall it seems well built. The lock feature could be a little stronger. If pushed on with a bit of force while locked, the tape moves. On the side or the bottom, it should display the length from the tape opening to the back of the device (like |---- 3" ----|) so you know how much to add to your measurement if using the back against a wall. I can't speak for the longev...

The stability of the blade is great for working alone as it is stable info mid air until around 6'! And the soft lock holds until you get to your place of true measurement without slipping and the release doesn't make you fearful of losing a finger! The measurements are clear and SO helpful!
