Great tape measure!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently was in the market for a new tape measure. I found the Stanley Dual Lock. I love the way it fits in my hand. Beefy, but coated so it is not slippery. The dual lock feature allows you to truly lock the tape at a distance so it will not move. A very handy feature. I also like the markings on the tape, sometimes those little lines are hard to count but Stanley clearly marked them with 1/8, 1/4 and so on so it easier to read than my older...

Easy to use and read!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Glad I got this: the fractional readouts are perfect and easy to see. The dual stop is great feature and simple to use - makes it easier to bring measurements to saws and set distances to cut vice trying to recall what the measurement was and have to do it again. Measurements are very accurate and size of the tape measure is perfect for my large hands!

Duallock has a very good feature

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dual lock is the greatest feature of the 25 Ft. Tape Measure. Being able to pull the tape out for less then 2 ft. measurements and it stays were it is without having to do anything else is great. Add to that, the larger numbers makes it easy to read for these old eyes looking through tri-focals.

Nice comfortable feel in you hand...

The tape does not automatically retract when you pull it out which is a nice feature and you can fully lock it if you wish, hence the name. The unlock is really smooth, you can bump it so the tape doesn't come flying back at you. My wish list would be to add a magnetized tip and to make it in larger sizes like a 30' and 35'. Robust and Ergonomically Friendly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] On initial use, I found the tape measure to fit comfortably in my hand, and the thumb button worked nicely. I especially like the dual lock feature - on extension, the tape stays where you want it, even without locking it in place; when done, a simple push of the rocker button in the other direction allows it to retract into the case. Harbor Freight was better quality

When I first got it and went to clip it, the clip broke off. Couldn't believe it. The free one I got from harbor freight was better quality tape actually and is able to extend longer without the tape folding than the Stanley. Waste of Money.
