Good tape

I've had mine for two years and have used it for interior trim in a 2 bedroom addition and exterior sheathing, trim, and siding. The lock has become too hard to operate with a single finger, and the silky action it had when new has gotten grittier. This is normal wear and tear. The standout was never the 14' advertised. It goes the distance and saves you money!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Been framing for a little while now and anybody who is anybody that frames or works construction knows that there is no comparable tape measure, especially when it comes to the FatMax series. This thing goes like some 14 ft from your hand up to reach far away things like tops of tall walls and roofs to get the perfect measurement you need wouldn't trade it for any other brand.

The only tape I buy

The end to the search for the right tape

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my Fatmax tape 3 years ago and have used literally everyday in most applications of construction in every weather condition there is since and it has performed outstandingly and gives me no reason to think that it wont continue to do so. Working 16'+ material is a breeze with this tape's breakinng point. 5/5 stars

Does what you want it to do.

Best measuring tape

Best tape measure out there

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this to replace and older broken no name tape measure. Wow this is durable! And I can extend it out so far without having another person hold the end without it buckling! Will have to buy a smaller one as a daily carry.

Why I switched to this amazing tape!!!

It has the best reach and it’s so easy to read. It also has perfect amount of spring loaded recoil. I simply just love it <3

Quite handy

Best tape available

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tape is not bulky, numbers are easy to read, price is reasonable. I do metal stud framing so my job requires to use a tape every single day and comes on contact with sharp metal everyday, it’s safe to say this is most durable I’m used.

Get’s the job done, but not much else

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tape measure works. The “tongue” is rather stubby and does not hook on things very easily. It does have extra markings every 16’’ for framing, but with such a fat tape I would hope for a little more information, why not add some quick reference fractions for those that the imperial system may not be the most intuitive.

Long lasting
