Southwire Analog 12-1000-Volt Voltage Detector Met

There isn't alot to say about this product only that it works great and doubles as a strong led flashlight. Shows if a wire is hot great product to keep you safe and shock free!

Works detecting live wires

THe tester does work detecting live wires but the audible alerts is not loud enough.

Great product for the professional

Powerful Design!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Convenient voltage range selector. As I work sometimes in low voltage circuits I can confident if the line is with voltage, I also work on PV systems and those could exceed 600V, a robust design that you definitely want. Safety First!!!

Overall Outstanding Tool

Received the tester about a week ago and as of right now have absolutely nothing to complain about. Love the tool and it is now my main NCVD.

The tester that could replace your flashlight!

The light on the tip is bright enough to light up a box while tracing wires, but the larger light on the other end is amazing it easily lights up dark rooms and attics. the only con i found is that the 12v mode is momentary, so you have to keep the button pressed while using it.

Tool with a Bright Future

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had received this tool a month ago. I was looking forward to trying out the 12 volt aspect of this tool, and it has preformed better than I could have expected. The light on the end by the clip is a nice light to work under. the one on the sensing end is nice to help you find or see the wire you are checking. It eliminates the need to carry a flashlight.

Great NCVD

good overall ncv tester

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tester works great. Good line voltage testing and It can check low voltage AC thermostat ,irrigation and control wires. It is water proof so if you drop it in water you don't have to worry about damaging it. The flashlight is also bright and useful.
