Nice tool, very functional.

It works very well. The only thing I don't care for is that it's to sensitive. It's hard it tight quarters to figure out which wires are hot if there are multiple wires in the box.

I have used this at home but also at work working on 12v vehicle electrical systems. The low voltage mode was picking up as little as 2.4v dc

Electric fence

I use it to check if voltage is present on my electric fence. It works great!

Great tester

Great little non contact voltage tester and came with two flashlights one on each end to help see work easier. Great tool to double check to see if the power has been turned off to a outlet or switch or to see if a circuit is hot.

battery cap broke off

it was god until I tried to replace the batteries and the blessed cap broke right at the seam, so frustrating. recommended for testing, ONE STAR for durability

Really good product

I replaced an old one that had three small button batteries which were not feasible to carry around due to easy loss. This Southwire brand uses a AAA battery which I carry around these and use regularly plus the features were awesome and work great every time I use it.

Fragile

Used for light duty DIY stuff around the house for ~6 months, then dropped it like 8" while crouching and it broke forever? Not even cosmetic damage to the outside, but the internals are lunched and it won't turn on anymore. Just a little blip of the LED when you press the power button then nothing. Seemed sturdy when I bought it, but I guess it's made of eggshells on the inside.
