quick delivery easy install. We had to also buy new nails. The threads were not long enough to go into our gutters then into roof. If the threads would have been extended up, they would work.

Rain runs over guard, not so smart screen

Really liked the idea of these guards when I watched the advertising videos online and read the description, but while these guards may prevent debris from entering the gutter, they defeat the gutter's purpose all together. I finished installing minutes before a rain came through, and watched with anticipation only to find that all of the rainwater flowed directly over the guard, dripping a foot away from the foundation. See video attached. This seems to be a common issue with some manufacturers...

Git R Dun!

I am a 57 year old woman who got tired of waiting on hubby to install gutter guard on the shed he built several years ago. So, where do you go when you want to git r dun? You go to Lowes.com, find what you need, click, order, pay and get your products within a couple of days :) I was pleased with the quality of the gutter guard and how easy it was to install, all by myself! So not only is Lowes for pro's its for not so pro's too!

Easy install once I found a small enough square driver for the screws. They don’t allow all of the rain to reach the gutter, but It sure keeps the leaves out.

An extra hand would be helpful during the install

I would gladly give this product 5 stars if they were as easy to install as their video shows. However, I found it somewhat difficult to do with only two hands while standing on a ladder. This may be due to my garage facia weaving in and out a little making it hard to line every thin up, hold it in place with one hand and using a drill driver to insert the included screws into the recess and getting it to start making it's hole without the screw falling out of the bit or going in crooked. Measure Twice

I just started installing the Smart Screen 5" x 20' panels. My gutters are new and 5". The Smart Screen panels are actually about 5 1/4" or 5 1/2" wide. So be sure that your gutters are about 1/2" below your shingles or otherwise you won't have enough room to slide the back side of the gutter guard up under the bottom of the shingle. It actually works and installs easily.

This is a solid and secure connection that lays on top of the existing gutter and screws in place. You will have to drill pilot holes for the screws. Screws are supplied but they are a four sided torque head. Looking through decades of accumulated tools I couldn't find such a driver (everything I've seen is six sided) so I used other screws I had on hand. Considering other choices available the screw inconvenience was worth the extra effort.

Overall is great, designed, materials that match the description. The only thing you may need to pay attention to is the width of your gutters to ensure they will fit the gutter guard.

Good Product but did not fit my gutters

I purchased these through Lowes.com and picked them up at my local store. I assumed my house had 5" gutters as it is a fairly new home. I have 4" gutters and these screens wold not fit unless I wanted to cut them. I do not think they would work well on a 4" gutter. I primarily bought this brand them they are endorsed by Mike Holmes.
