Too short!

These gutter guards could have been great, too bad they came up short. My gutters are 5 1/2 wide but still need something like 6 inches to cover them properly from the front edge to the roof line. Be aware!! Otherwise these are very good, solid aluminum and very well made, if they fit, they should last a lifetime.

Better than expected

Had no idea these would be so easy to install. Judging by the quality, I’ll never have to replace them. Oh, and I’ll NEVER have to clean out my gutters again!

flexible

these were very flexible to install. We used them on old gutters and the work went quickly.

Installed

I purchased washers for the screws. Found the screw by itself went through the guard. Installed much better with washers added. I also had to trim the width of a few guards with tin snips to fit. Also over lapped the guards about two inches. Works great leaves started to fall and went over the guards. I put these on both sides of my garage 14 foot each side. Got an estimate of $750 for the gutter guys for the shield. Functions the same way as these and cost with washers about $70 a huge savings...

Super easy to install

As a single woman I dreaded trying to put gutter guards on my gutters, but this product was super easy I had no problems

Gutter Guards

A good product which were no problem to install although I would have preferred star screws instead of square head screws, but they did go in easily. Should include a proper sized square head bit with screws.

Comments on Installation of Smart Screen Guard

I just finished installation of this product and after figuring out corners and angles the installation was fairly easy. Straight line gutter systems would go up very quickly, but angles and corners do slow things down. More video from the company on working with corners and angles would be helpful. Also, getting a 5ft piece under the edge of the roofing tiles takes some effort, but with some bending of the edges the product eventually goes under and sits flat on the gutter. Good product

Over this is a good product and does the job as it's supposed to. My only criticism is that because it's aluminum, it's very soft and sometimes the screws go right through.

Easy to Install

Make sure to have tinsnips for any cuts that you may need to make & a driver bit #1 2" square recess for the screws. The process went pretty fast. Moving the ladder slows you down. I have a lot of maple trees. Hopefully these will do a great job of keeping the leaves out.

Great Product

I was looking for a solution to my "leaf clogged" gutters. I got an estimate to install a product very similar to this and I was shocked at $1500 quote I received. Obviously, that was installed but WOW!!!! I purchased 200' of these and being that I have a 1 story house, the install was a breeze. Very satisfied. I haven't gone through the fall season yet to see if they still plug but to this point, I'm happy.

Gutter guards

Didn't fit my gutters but with a little work they worked out just fine. They seem to be well made, may have to cut and or modify to fit, I had to run them under the shingles to fit. better than cleaning my gutters once a week. It would be nice if they included the square driver bit it takes to install them.

Aluminum Gutter Guard

Installed 120 feet on my house. Simple enough, especially with aluminum. Where necessary it trimmed or bent to conform to my gutters. I invested in hex self tapping screws instead of the screws included with the product. Installed much easier with those. I'm waiting for the first good rain and also to see how they weather over the winter with the ice build up that occurs in Michigan. That will be the real test as well as keeping all the fall time tree junk out of the gutters.
