What Customers Are Saying
The self-leveling floor product has mixed results. Some customers found it easy to use and effective at leveling uneven floors, while others experienced significant issues with the product not self-leveling as expected, being too thick or gritty, and resulting in an uneven final surface. Proper mixing and following the instructions closely is crucial for achieving good results. The product quality may be inconsistent, and larger projects can be labor-intensive. Overall, the product seems to work well for some customers but has quality control and usability issues that lead to frustration and poor results for others.

Would Not RecommendFirst time using this product I bought there primer and used it as they instructed giving it plenty of time to dry. As one person mixed the leveler in a barrow with a gallon of water per bag and spread the leveler another person smoothed it out but it was already starting to dry. It never flowed out. Now my floor is worse than before. I have wasted my money and time on this product and now I have to waste more money on tools and supplies, time and labor to level this floor. If you have time to ...
Disappointed
Would Not RecommendIt worked as self leveling, though it varied in shade.

Not vey self leveling
Would Not RecommendI tried twice with this stuff in a small area. The first time I poured it, and spread it out what I figured was pretty even, and then figured I'd let it do it's thing. When I cam back after it dried, it was extremely wavy with highs and lows. when I put a like a 4 foot level across it, there were many areas up to a quarter inch low. It wasn't just one spot, it was like that all over. So I figured I would try again. The second time after pouring it, I really tried to work it with a trowel, ...

Not ideal for patch work.
Would Not Recommend[Disclaimer] This was my first time using self-leveler, so its possible that my issues are from user-error, but I do not think this is the case. I have plenty of experience with pouring concrete slabs and laying pavers/indoor tiles - but again, first time using self-leveling concrete. [Review] I was doing patch work on a previous floor. My work area was roughly 100 square feet, and a very non-uniform surface to fill. Some areas needed near 3/8" filled while others only 1/8". I had removed all ...

Not level
Would Not RecommendHad slightly uneven concrete floors and thought I'd fix them before laying tile. Followed the instructions to the letter. Floors are ok but they're surely not level. Very disappointed.

Not great, but ok.
Would RecommendI had a whole kitchen, about 136 sqft., that had slate tile that we wanted to cover since it would have been too difficult to take up. So I decided to use this product. I watched several videos on how to use the product, so I thought I wouldn't have any issues. I followed the instructions on the bag for the first bag only to find it didn't seem like enough water for the product. Also, the product set up faster than the claimed "30 minute working time." I tried to make the best of it and adde...
product lumpy
Would Not Recommendi am a proffesional floor contractor. i have probably used 4- 5 tons of self leveler over the last 25 yrs. sika is most cost friendly, and least installer friendly. i just completed a job using 5 bags, and had a 2 gallon bucket filled w lumps i picked out, that would not be broken up with my paddle mixer. the lumps just bounced around in the bucket when hit with the paddle. i have used other brands, and this is the only brand i have that trouble with. what wasnt lumpy flowed a...

Buy more than expected
I was able to mix everything according to the instructions but ran short on the job I was doing. A lot of the sediment settled on the bottom of my mixing bucket and was essentially tossed out. I guess I was hoping for the self-leveling to be more smooth than expected. It left large ripples and in some places made my floor more uneven. I take the blame for the DIY portion, but was still hoping for a smoother covering.
