Requires modification to fit my Grizzly band saw and Grizzly disk sander. This is not explained in the instructions. Now I have to buy a piece of plywood in order to use it.

Shop Fox D2057A Mobile Base
Please take note that this item is a Shop Fox and, while it fits my Grizzly G0817 bandsaw, it's a little big at its smallest. The frame assembly bolts are way too long and the left front caster bracket interferes with the G0817's storage compartment door. I substituted shorter bolts for the long ones and used set screws where the bolts interfered with the door. They provided nylon lock nuts to lock the assembly bolts when they should have just included a tube of threadlock. The instructions are ...

Sturdy- Well Built
Bought this for my 14 Delta bandsaw (which weighs a bit). This base makes it a breeze to now move the thing. Reasonably priced and very well built. The lock nuts that came with it were a bit of a challenge to get started on the bolts. Theres a hard rubber insert on the base of the nut (rather than the top) that makes it difficult to start the thread. Got around this by flipping the nut around, thread it down past the inserts (to kind of pre-groove the rubber), remove the nut, and re install on t...

Heavy Duty and adjustable. My only reason for docking one star is the magnetic footpads, if adjusted up much during a move the magnets lose attraction and they fall off. If you do not have to move over uneven surfaces this will not be an issue.

was absolutele necessary for me to be able to use the table saw. I'll have to modify it some as I need 2 sets of swivel casters to be able to move in the limited space I have available

Big Help!
This base kit was easy to assemble and it seems rugged. Plus, my table saw will be easy to move around the shop since I am limited on space.

Extremely solid. Good price
I found the base well made with excellent components. Powder coating appears properly done. The use of lock nuts to hold bolts in place was a bit of a challenge. Requiring each nut to be threaded the normal way then backed off, reversed and re threaded for assembly. But its done. I had to cut the stretchers to get a proper fit to my Grizzly GO833p

I bought this mobile base to support the G1023RLWX table saw. I was able to assemble and install the base by myself using, chat you call, method 3. Assembly was pretty straightforward with the instructions provided. I had to saw two of the struts to reduce the minimum length in order to have the base fit snugly around the table saw's base. Other than that I am totally satisfied with how the base operates. It does its job.

Casters fall apart over time.
I bought this for my 12" table say and added extra bolts. It was OK, hard to move for several years of service. But this year the rubber casters delaminated. I'm looking to buy better quality casters and perhaps raise it a bit as well. I recommend the base, but buy better casters right away.

Happy purchase
The first mobile base I assembled took a while following the instructions but the second and third mobile bases went together quickly. I'm pleased with the mobile performance of the bases.
