Excellent mobile base
The quality and the craftsmanship seem to be very good. It was an easy assembly, and it works very good. My only issue is that for my equipment I had to buy the 36" extension bars separately. I saw where other people didn't know this at the time they bought it. Now, I have the smaller extension bars that came with it that are good for nothing because they are now extra hardware that isn't going to be used. I would suggest you package another option with the longer bars instead of the smaller bar...

Would RecommendSuper strong base. I added the 36" extensions to the stand because I have the 458Z drum sander. Moves easily when you need it to and stays put when the locks are used. A+

Contrary to the Q&A section this base DOES work for the Shop Fox W1888 table saw. This base is adjustable to 29". I gave 3 stars for the same reason as some others. The mechanism for locking the base in place is poorly designed. Not only do you have to bend over each time but the magnet that holds the foot to the threaded rod is weak and the foot falls down. While this base does fit my saw I wouldn't buy it again.

Not the best way to gol
This mobile base seems sturdy enough, it has a weight rating greater than the weight of the jointer I have mounted on it, and overall this mobile base seems adequate. My reason for rating this base only two stars is the roll locking assemblies, which really are much less than poor design, they also function poorly. The assembly is made up of two parts, a foot assembly with a small magnet on the end, and a threaded rod screwing down from the top. The illustration clearly shows the thumbwheel knob...

Great HD Mobile Base
Would RecommendI bought this to replace a Bora mobile base that was not cutting it under the weight of my table saw. It was like wrestling a gorilla to move the saw around. The new Shop Fox base is built much more sturdily and has seriously heavy duty casters. The only thing I'm not a fan of is having to bend down (bad back) to engage/disengage the lift pads. Other than that, it's great - moves around with little effort and is very solid - no rocking at all.
