So it does the job. I like that its nontoxic, cuz we dont want all that bad stuff left in our plates and cups! However sometimes it doesnt wash some things off as well as Id hope (now this could be my dishwasher problem so I cant be too upset). But I keep repurchasing it and its a good one :)

Finally made the switch to this dishwasher detergent and I love it! Price is a little high but certainly worth it now that I have experienced it. Cleans my dishes so much better and doesnt leave a residue like the others. I feel so much better using this detergent with little kids in the house.

These are my favorite, I always used Cascade for years until I found these. Free and clear is great so no soapy smell or residue and even tho its all natural it stills gets the job done

This product is really effective that really delivers clean-shiny finish. This dishwashing detergents is really powerful and is not overpriced. Seventh Generation works effectively than some other products. This is really recommended.

Effective but a natural alternative

I just finished my first load using SG powder and I must say I’m very impressed by the results. It is far better than any traditional gel dishwashing product. No film, no spots and no dirty dishes to rewash. I piled in all my pans, glasses, plates, plastic containers, etc in one load and hoped for the best. I really wanted to like this because Ive been looking for dishwasher detergent that isnt chemical laden. Unfortunately it just doesnt work. Lots of little particles would be all over my dishes and dishwasher after I used this. I may try the liquid kind that they make, but DONT waste your money on this.

So far so good. Ive been using for awhile now and I love this product. Nice clean scent. I do wish it would come in different scents.

I use this detergent powder because it is good for the environment and I dont have to worry about harsh chemicals on my dishes. It works great!

I switched to this bc its got clean all natural ingredients that are plant based and wont harm your body! Its so important to me to have a non chemical laden household and this product is great and I feel safe using it!!

I tried this Dishwasher Detergent because I was hoping to find a clean alternative to my traditional detergent. It was just ok. I had to really rinse my dishes prior to putting them into the dishwasher or it didnt clean anything. As a super busy shift worker with two kids, I have no desire to basically wash my dishes prior to putting them in the dishwasher so I absolutely will not be repurchasing.

Leave residue on my dishes and sometimes doesn’t get all of them clean unless you really wipe them down in addition to rinsing them off. Almost takes away the point of using a dishwasher

Works well, after I cleaned my washers filter.

The first load came out less than perfect. Turned out I just needed to clean my filter. Now it works great. Looking where to buy it again!

Waste of money

I bought this for the first time recently because it was the only unscented, loose dw powder on the shelf. BIG disappointment. I have had to check every piece as I empty the dishwasher - there is always gunk stuck on various pieces. I have to hand re-wash much of the flatware because is is so spotty. Tupperware-like containers always come out grimy. I have never had this problem with any other dw powder I've used, whether cheap or expensive. I'm sorry to say that I am throwing away my almo...

Residue

I was so excited when I found this product. I have been using Seventh Generation dishwashing soap for years. I am so disappointed with the quality of this product. I have to have my dishes completely cleaned and rinsed before loading them into the dishwasher. Even then my glasses and silverware come out hideously spotted and filmy, and I use a premium rinse agent.

Does the job

We use the powder with Asko DW. Well water (softened). I don’t clean the dishes off before loading and I also only fill the door mounted canister about 1/2 way. Washer uses a fan to dry the dishes, does not have a heater for drying. Does a great job. The most important factor for good results is to load the washer properly. Look at the owners manual or google topic. If you allow the water to circulate in chamber properly and use a good detergent (like SG) will provide best result...
