Great product

I love this dishwasher powder! It lasts forever and does a good job on my dishes. It is fragrance free and clean compared to other dishwasher detergents on the market.

Great for an older dishwasher

I have been using this detergent due to the multiple silicone items my toddler uses-no absorbed scent! We have an older dishwasher and this works great when filling the dispenser half to three quarters. No residue, no overpowering scent, and no waste. We do tend to pre-rinse our dishes so I can't speak to stuck on food performance. It is just hard to find these days-sold out everywhere or available at double the price. I hope this is not being discontinued.

It’s a nice product

It’s a nice product and doesn’t hurt my dads chemical sensitivity but pricey. Also doesn’t clean as intensely as harsher products but you can’t have everything.

I was a little

I was a little skeptical but this product did a great job at cleaning my dishes. It’s comforting to know that it’s environmentally friendly.

I used this detergent

I used this detergent for a while because of my daughter’s eczema. Since it is free and clear that is suitable for sensitive and eczema prone skin. It was fine for her skin but does not clean our clothes. I am not sure if this detergent or our washing machine is the problem (bc I live in a rental unit) but I changed this detergent anyway.

This dishwasher detergent is good. Sometimes it doesn’t get the things clean, but you should rinse dishes before putting it in the dishwasher.

I usually don't like powder detergent but I love this one! Gets dishes clean without leaving a residue behind!

Makes glasses and dishes taste salty

We love 7th Generation Dishwasher Detergent gel but have become uneasy about its plastic container and decided to try the powder. After just the first load, we quickly realized that there was now a salty taste on all the glasses and mugs, and we could see spots on glassware. These problems persisted with subsequent loads. great value

This product is great value and cleans well. Due to covid we use the dishwasher alot to sanitize, and sometimes we dont have a lot of dishes to sterilize, so instead of using the pod, we use powder ---more for sterilization. So we could customize how much powder to use or how little to use due to the load. This one has the least fillers compared to other products and has the least amount of packaging.

Received these sample detergents to use and were amazing. I rarely use a dishwasher other than when we have a party and a huge load is needed. These samples worked and no weird after scent. Thanks to @seventhgeneration for these #freesamples.

A little goes a long way!

When our repair guy said we were using the wrong soap, I listened. When I bought this he also showed me that only 1.5 tsp was necessary. My dishes haven't been this clean in (no joke) years! And no nasty residue! (I fill the rinse aid section with water). I have to drive to the next town to get it, but it's worth it!

Creates troublesome bubbles!

I have been using Seventh Generation Dishwasher Powder until my dishwasher stopped working properly. The cause? This soap. The repairman asked me if I was using "Seventh Generation dish soap" I said "yes." He said that this product creates bubbles and bubbles confuse the dishwasher circuitry. He recommended I use a different soap--or I will keep him in business.

I use pretty much all seventh gen stuff in my house because it’s easy to get, I know it doesn’t have toxic stuff in it, and it works.

Latest box is bad

I used to like this but the latest box I bought is much more crystallized and less powdery. It makes the soap dispenser stick shut.

Incredible product!

We've been using this for about 6 months now and will never go back to another product, or to making our own, which we have also done. This product is both environmentally conscious AND hands-down the best dishwashing detergent I've ever used. This is my family’s go

This is my family’s go to dishwasher detergent! We LOVE that it is made from all natural, safe ingredients. We are very selective about what products we use and care about our health. The best part is the price as one box lasts over 2 months of daily use and is extremely affordable. Our dishes come out very clean... we have zero complaints and continue to buy it!

We like this when the

We like this when the pods are not available. It works great, does not leave water spots, removes tough grime, and doesn’t leave any sort of gel residue. Definitely recommend if the pods are not available.
