Garbage

I bought this safe two years ago, and go into it minimally, maybe once a month. I recently went to open it and the button was broken. My husband jammed a knife into the button to force it up enough that we finally got it to unlatch. We closed it again (after emptying everything) and the same thing happened. I called and this type of safe conveniently only has a one year warranty. The fact that a two year old, barely used safe, just dies like that is garbage. Don’t waste your money.

This safe with it's large interior was just what I needed for my storage. It is also very sturdy with thick walls and a handle.

Heavy duty little safe

Safe is a perfect size for my documents (ie house deed, car titles, passports). Also with the improved latch, the safe is easy to open and close.

Lock jams

Every time I close mine since the first time the latch gets jammed and it is nearly impossible to open.

Great quality

This safe houses everything I need it to without taking up too much space. It makes me feel good to know that all my valuables are protected from fire and water as well.

I've seen it work!

My Son's home was lost to fire. He and his wife had a Sentry safe. I witnessed the fireman find the safe and pry it open. All the contents were dry and intact. That was enough to make me get one that day! I have also told family about this safe and two sisters have already purchased the same Sentry Safe that I did;

Can’t open it

It is an effective safe in terms of protection but I cannot open it and unfortunately will need to return it. Hopefully I can find a Sentry non waterproof One that I can open like my old one.

After 3 safes, will never buy from company again

To keep it short - We've been through 3 safes. All safes have cracked. Worthless and horrible quality. Company said they would stand by their product but never responded back. We've kept out cool, but at this point, we continue to lose money. All 3 safes were stored at proper temps and out of sunlight. We've also had major locking issues with 2 of the 3. I do not recommend this brand and will not buy from again.

Locking mechanism is trash.

I have 2 of these safes and neither locking mechanism works. I have no doubt the the actual safe is quality, but the locking mechanism is not useable or reliable. I cannot get the safes to lock, even with downward pressure.

Feels very heavy duty, I feel my valuables will be safe. The fire protection guarantee is a bonus

H0100 Fire/Water Chest

I got this safe to store most important docs and few pieces of jewelry. I read reviews before buying it and was not sure if everything will fit, so I was pleasantly surprised. Same with locking up the unit- before opening the safe, I watched the video and then followed the instructions to open the safe and to close it - did not have nay challenges. So far so good !

I love this safe for small articles. It's strong and has heft to it. It's perfect for what I wanted.
