Well made and very rugged.

I received this chest as a gift from a friend. I was amazed at how heavy and thick walled it was and then saw it had a good amount of room for it's size. I could tell right away that is of very sturdy construction. My friend felt concerned about my older, basic metal box, so he wanted me to have this. I appreciate his generosity and the quality of your product.

Will not latch properly when locking

I've worked with similar versions of this safe i the past so I felt comfortable with purchasing it. It has sat unused for a good period of time just due to not having anything needed stored during that time however when I finally needed to put some in it, not matter how hard my husband I both tried it would not latch properly to lock. Im extremely disappointed. Never had one be so difficult. Ultimately we gave up because it was so frustrating.

It would not open and close

I had to take it back because I closed and locked it then unlocked it and the latch would not work so I could not open it. Thankfully, I was testing it before actually putting anything of value inside.

Secure safe and perfect size

The safe it's perfect size, fire proof and water resistant. Inside compartment looks perfect for documents and I love that is actually a carrying case.

Terrible

I can't unlock mine cause the lock broke! I have so much things locked in there and no idea how to get it open

sticky latch

I love the size of this safe for all my deeds and closing documents. The only negative is that I have to push down so hard on the lid to get the latch to unlock. It cannot be done while it's sitting on a soft surface. My arthritis prevents me from just squeezing it together.

total piece of junk

this thing can not be opened. Four adults could not do it. USELESS!!

Strong and heavy

Initially I thought I had damaged safe because I couldn’t get it open and the key comes inside the case. What I realized was that it has a tight seal and you need to push down on the case while pressing the white release near the handle. Once I got it open I was completely satisfied with the product. it is heavy, strong and fits the documents that I needed to secure. It popped open when my wife dropped it I’d never recommend this safe to anyone

Highly recommend! The quality appears good, and I trust the company and reputation that it will protect as designed in case of fire. Opening and shutting was not difficult, but I only opened/closed a few times to get stuff in. Transport was very easy with the brief-case type handle.
