Very disapointed product did not perform as expect

Prepared soil for new seeding on Acre of land. Applied Scotts Triple action for new seeding and not one seed sprouded.

Triple Action Fertilizer Built for Seeding Problem

I had purchased Triple Action Built for Seeding as I was putting down seed to thicken my lawn. I put down seed and Triple Action on April 4th 2023. At first my existing Lawn looked great but now many areas are yellowing out. Now my lawn looks like the bad lawn on the street. I thought it was a good idea to try the Triple Action but now I see that was a mistake. I should have stuck with the regular Scotts product. Wont make that mistake again.

Turf Builder tall Fescue mix delivers as promised!

After tilling up the ground we applied Scotts Turf Builder Grass Seed Tall Fescue Mix and so far are pleased with the results. The grass has taken root, just as the product promised. It has just started growing but we expect it to fully cover the bare spots. A before picture is posted; with all the recent rain we expect a full yard of good grass before Spring turns to Summer...

Grass Turf Builder Grass Seed (Dense Shade Mix)

Scotts Turf Builder Tall Fescue

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased to overseed my existing fescue lawn in early Spring. Very easy application with the grass seed and starter fertilizer combination. Filled in the gaps nicely and blended well with the existing fescue.

Fescue Filler

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Useful for overseeding some thinner spots in my fescue lawn as well as bare spots. Works well in sun and shade areas, at least in my experience, as long as proper wateringis maintained until well established.

Solid results

My spreader dispersed the seed mix with ease, providing an even spread. I watered as directed. The seed began to sprout at 11 days. The grass looks healthy and it should start filling in my lawn nicely.

Decent grass seed

I am not sure about germination rates as temperatures are just now at the right point for that stage to start. Try this on you shady problem areas. It works.

It is quite shady and other grasses may start growing but die after a short time. This Dense Shade mix was my solution. Planted today, now is the wait and water time

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just applied seed today due to weather and soil conditions. I expect to have a nice green coating after watering twice a day for the next 2-3 weeks. I have used this seen before with excellent results.

Pretty good grass seed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I spread this in my lawn where we had two trees removed last year. We seeded in the fall but it was still patchy. It took about 12 days to see any growth, but it looks like it’s coming in nicely now. We’ve used the same seed in previous years so I’m sure it will look great in a few more weeks!

Quick germination and growth!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used this to re-seed an area at the bottom of my deck steps. It germinated quickly and is growing is nicely. I've been pleased with it. I did add some soil amendment to the dirt, but that's simply due to the hard clay soil that I have. This grass is doing well and I'm interested to see how it fares through the hot summer here in the south.

Works well for true shade

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great for shady areas, but not as wonderful in part shade. Careful if you have a mix. I’d recommend waiting until you have full shade areas to use it in, like where you have shade at least 6+ hours out of the day!

Southern Turf

Great for the area

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This seed was great for a specific area of my yard. This area typically needs reseeding due to traffic. The area gets less sun and typically takes addition time and maintenance. This product grew with minimal effort.

Dense Shade? No Problem with this Seed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have grass growing! It took a week, but it's starting to fill in. Got an early start planting this seed. The trees are just starting to bud, so I am getting some additional sunlight. The weather hasn't really co-operated, but the growth signs are definitely encouraging.

Great seed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] OK I had some bare spots on my lawn in multiple places, so what I did was I loosen the soil and I had some fertilizer that I put down and I planted the seed, and within don’t know maybe 10 days or so. I started noticing that there was grass growing on the spots, and now the spot is completely filled in I’m very happy with this, and I would do this again on any other bare spots. I will try to over seed in the fall with this seed.

Best on the market
