Lawn Looking Good

I applied Triple Action for Seeding in mid-April and all looks good three weeks later. How long should I wait to apply Ultrafeed? After applying Ultrafeed I should be done for the season as it is supposed to continue working for 6 months, right?

Not a Single Blade of Grass Grew.

Overseeded my lawn with Scott's seed to fix a lot of bare patches. Followed directions to a T. Not a single blade of grass grew. In fact, in the few areas where I didn't apply the fertilizer, grass grew. My neighbor overseeded on the same day but didn't apply this fertilizer and now has a nicely growing lawn, so I do not believe it is due to weather or other circumstances. Very disappointed because I usually have great luck with Scotts products. There seems to be a lot of similar disappoint...

Should have never risked this

Now my lawn is a disaster! Crab grass everywhere! I feels as if there should have been more fertilizer and pre emergent in this. Horrible looking lawn. The worst in the neighbor hood

Don't reseed before a storm..

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not much to comment on here as I reseeded a day before an unexpected, I'm talking torrential downpour for hours, rain. I waited a couple of weeks and noticed a small amount of new grass sprouting. The moral is, don't expect to grow grass when the majority of seed gets washed away. One thing of note: The directions called for setting my drop spreader to about 19. This is almost wide open. I ran out of seed before 1000 square feet.

Wonderful product

Worked great!

They really soak in the moisture and in the drier part of the season grass tends to get thinner. I've tried many things but after using Scott's Turf Builder Grass Seed Dense Shade Mix, I can really see an improvement. Growing well

I put this down in the spring time hoping that the cooler temps and hydration of the season would help it grow. It has done really well so far. I think it will easily cover all of the bare spots in my yard.

Great under my fruit tree

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had some bare patches in the grass around my peach tree that have not changed much despite me trying various grass seed products. This Grass Seed Dense Shade Mix was just what I needed. We are starting to see some grass come thru finally in a tough spot.

do not buy

I used this seed on newly loamed and leveled areas in my yard and despite the perfect amount of rain do not see a single sprout 4 weeks later.

Beautiful Lawn

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I lost my lawn totally last year from extreme drought. I used Scotts sun and shade last fall and seed for dense shade this spring. The lawn is filling in all over and looks great. I love the dark green texture of the different type of seed.

Dead patches

Like others have said, this product has resulted in giant dead patches in my lawn. I have regularly used Scotts weed and feed products in the past and this has never happened

Good Product Good Results

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Scott’s tall fescue is an great choice for seed. I put it down evenly and it looked great. It’s been down about 1 1/2 weeks ago and I’m already starting to see a light green hue. The seed took very quickly. I recommend this product if you are wanted to get fuller grass.

Growing grass!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have one side of my yard that i never can grow grass due to shade from multiple trees. So far i am pleased with this seed. I raked the bare spots that i had to get to the dirt layer. Seed was easy to spread and obvious how much was placed in one spot to prevent overseeding. Followed instructions and watered and so far i have a nice amount of grass growing. Time will tell how strong it will be, but so far its looking good!

Great product!

I can already see some grass starting to grow after only a week so I’m very happy with the product. Hopefully there will finally be no more bare spots in that area.

Very disapointed product did not perform as expect

Triple Action Fertilizer Built for Seeding Problem

I had purchased Triple Action Built for Seeding as I was putting down seed to thicken my lawn. I put down seed and Triple Action on April 4th 2023. At first my existing Lawn looked great but now many areas are yellowing out. Now my lawn looks like the bad lawn on the street. I thought it was a good idea to try the Triple Action but now I see that was a mistake. I should have stuck with the regular Scotts product. Wont make that mistake again.

After tilling up the ground we applied Scotts Turf Builder Grass Seed Tall Fescue Mix and so far are pleased with the results. The grass has taken root, just as the product promised. It has just started growing but we expect it to fully cover the bare spots. A before picture is posted; with all the recent rain we expect a full yard of good grass before Spring turns to Summer...
