Drum Crack

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i purchased this dryer november 2016 as new. i started hearing clanking noise a few months ago and finally noticed a big crack at the rear end of the drum when one of my shirt got caught in it.

Repaired twice in 4 years

If you want a quality product look elsewhere. I had this dryer repaired due to broken pulley just outside the warranty and now it’s started metal scrapping noises - waiting for the tech again. For a premium $900 dryer I would have expected it to be more reliable. I’m switching back to GE.

PIECE OF CRA*

Bought in 2016, paid for extended warranty. Replaced tensioner, and now the dryer drum has a HUGE crack in it. Moisture sensors went out on it already, too.... Called Samsung and they were NOT interested in helping at all; said "you are outside of your extended warranty by 30 days." NEVER AGAIN. Samsung needs to be sued over this as this is a HUGE issue - check the internet~! Would give this thing 0 stars but it's not an option.

Poor Quality

we purchased the dryer and matching washer 3 years ago and now the dryer won't heat up, after only 3 years. extremely frustrated.

Drum cracked in first 6 months.

the sales rep pushed this one. drum cracked in first six months. had it repaired and now it takes 1.5 hour to dry a load that used to take 40 mins. terrible. bought both washer and dryer.

Not good

havent had this for 2 years and the heating element doesnt work! stay away from samsung products. just problem after problem

Great Pair

Complete garbage - totally disappointed!

I'm generally not one to write a review - even for a poor product - but this is an exception. I had a LG washer/dryer set I purchased a few years ago that were GREAT. We moved and needed a new set. I have always known GE to be a good brand and this set got good reviews so we purchased them. The washer was fine. The dryer, however, made a SUPER loud screeching/scraping noise when we dried clothes. It was so bad that my son, who has a room on the opposite side of the house, got up at night to ask ...

Dont buy ths unit, Broken 3 Times in 6 months!

Bought brand new and failed in a month, replaced with a new one and failed 2 more time in 6 months. Dont buy this unit.....Cheap and fails Bigly.

Great Dryer

Piece of Garbage, RUN away.

This dryer ran fine for first 3 years. It then would not turn. Had a repairman out and he replaced the idler wheel for 200.00. Thought it was fixed, but after running it for 10 min then a very loud screaching noise came from the machine. Called repairman back and he said the drum roller wheel was broken and wanted 75.00. Drier

i paid nearly $700 plus extended warranty for this dryer 4 yrs ago . heating element has been replaced 3 times . dryer vent was checked all 3 times and was clear.now the drum motor is going out .

hole in dryer drum

after only 2 years the moisture sensors quit working, and now, 3 years old, there is a hole in the dryer drum. not acceptable at all. they refuse to warranty this to fix it.

Versatile and efficient

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] the programmed settings are effective and the additional programming choices let me dry items based on my preferences. lots of room for large loads but also handles small quantities too.
