I don’t recommend

My husb & I purchased this new stainless steel washer & dryer combo at a naval base store about 8 years ago. We paid far more than expected. I regret this purchase. They both ceased to work very shortly after the purchase, & several times over the years. I DO NOT recommend these products.

Garbage. Zero stars

I can’t say enough bad things about this washer and dryer. Bought new 7 years ago. Had both serviced multiple times within first 4 years. I will never buy another Samsung ANYTHING. Dryer has died. Washer is leaking from the door area onto my hardwood AGAIN- already had this fixed once. Buying a different brand. RUN FROM THIS COMPANY

Can't Complain About the Price!

We inherited this washer from my Mom when she moved. The washer was barely 2 years old then. Now we have used it almost 6 years. It stated leaking right after we got it. It only leaks in the beginning. We don't like it when I can only have a delayed start but can't have it finished in certain time which was our old GE washer's feature. It cleans ok.

Buyer Beware

This was our second machine we had where the bearings went in less than 5 years. I will never buy Samsung again.

Poor Quality Material

the seal around the drum broke for my washing machine as it seems to be made of poor quality plastic and now water is leaking from the bottom.

DO NOT BUY

DO NOT BUY. I bought the washer/dryer pair about 5 years ago like many other reviewers. One of the dryer drum wheels seized within the first year. Not a big deal. Fast forward four years later and the washer main circuit board and motor controller board both died. While it could have been a power surge, the washer was on a surge protector and no other devices in the house had problesm.

Had issues with washer and matching dryer

the reviews speak for themselves. samsung does not make reliable appliances. i purchased this washer & matching dryer as a set less than 4 years ago. dryer began leaking gas after 2mos while we had a newborn at home - ended up being replaced after replacing 2 parts. now the motor on the washer has stopped working, i am not in the same situation as the dryer, waiting on a replacement part. very disappointing that samsung doesn't offer any compensation for such a poorly made machine. this will on...

washer is noisy, jumps around. Constantly wrestling it back in position

not impressed

washer stop working within two years. keep doing rinse and spin cycle forever. it's a very common problem for samsung washer. i have seen many posts with the same problem. never over load and use it twice a week, can't believe it dies so fast.

should have bought the extended warrantee. 4 1/2yr

Good enough while it lasted which was 4 1/2 years. The average lifespan for a washer is about 14 years.No one around here (Goldendale, WA to the Dalles, OR) can or will work on it.

Don’t Buy

we have had this machine for just over 2 yrs. it now spins super fast, even when the spin is set to low. the rpms get so high it’s scary and it sounds like a jet taking off. should last longer!

Dead In Under 3 Years

major repair in under 3 years forced us to replace the entire machine.broken drum, bearing,etc,too expensive to fix,not worth it. no more samsung.

Washer only lasted 3 years

drum banging against the side panels. technician said that it would be cheaper buy a new washer.

Looks great. And love the stainless steel color.

Had this washer for over 2 years and it’s been great so far. Only have problem once but it has nothing to do with the washer or Samsung. The water filter in the back connected got all kind of dirt in it and for that reason the washer was acting all weird. Quick clean up solved the problem.

On my 3rd Washer: It's a Banger!

Bought new in late 2015. Washer started knocking really loud (spin cycle) within 3-4 months. Samsung came out, and determined the unit needed replacement. 2nd one lasted from early 2016 until early 2019. Started knocking again, and has gotten worse over the past few months. If in the same room as the washer, you have to yell at one another in order to communicate. I purchased the 5 year warranty, and they have sent a repair guy out. Disappointed in quality

We've had the washer/dryer set for only about 3 years. We noticed the washer started leaking not long after the 2 yr warranty had expired (of course) and it appeared to have been doing it for a while. Wasn't a lot, though, so we just put a towel down when doing laundry. Washer does get smelly, though, despite cleaning and leaving it open. I would not buy Samsung appliances again

I bought this washer in September of 2017 and started having problems as soon as it went out of warranty. The washer no longer drains properly and to repair it costs more than a new washer. Junk. Will not purchase Samsung again.

good price with great capacity

Im very satisfied with this washer. Save energy and water compare to my 10 years old washer. Big capacity. Easy to use. Even come with many features, you can simply press start button and the washer will do the job right. And I love the color, it brighten the room and looks elegant.

Out of balance nightmare

Washing more than 4 towels makes machine rock and stop!
