The installer informed me that the filter / draning feature, which is a must, will be difficult without the pedestal because it is very near the floor. Having owned a top load washer previously, I thought nothing of the additional purchase at the time of ordering.

Nice Features, Great Value

My GE washer died...the machine worked but the balance arms broke and it thumped and bounced out of control on spin cycle. It was 10 yrs old, and a repair bill didnt make sense. Great machine

This machine works great . It uses way less water than my top loader did. It is also amazingly quiet. The noisiest part of the cycle is when it adds water. Even when it goes into high speed spin it's still very quiet. I am very pleased with the machine and my purchase. I would definitely recommend this machine to anyone looking for a front load washer.

Love my Samsung Washer

This is a very powerful washer! On high spin, it will move because of the spining force. We pushed it up to our dryer, and that is no longer an issue. The drum is slightly tilted towards the back, making it very easy to see inside, and to make sure no laundry is left behind. The front door shuts nicely and feels solid. Love it! But it Leaked .....

We bought the matching washer/dryer on Black Friday at an excellent price. Lowes' installers were wonderful and ended up stacking the pair because of the location we needed to use. The washer is terrific now: quiet, easy to use, and the clothes come out very clean. We're also using much less detergent than with our former Maytag top-loader (which lasted for ten years). And instead of a buzz, it sings a little song when the load is finished :) But the new pretty blue Samsung leaked from the start...

Worth every penny

I was not sure if I should spend the extra money for a front load washer and dryer. This was money well spent. No more hand washing! I wash my dress slacks, lingerie, sweaters, down coats, on the delicate cycle and they come out looking better than new. I use less detergent and the clothes have never been cleaner. Only had them for a day...

The washer exceeds my number one requirement. It is exceptionally quiet. We previously had a 9 year old, top loader, Maytag that made it impossible to watch tv or sleep while it was running. The Samsung is more quiet than our dishwasher. Plus, it's a cool and stylish blue. I would suggest that you have at least 35 inches of depth wherever you want to put the washer. It says it is 31.5 inches in depth, but you need to factor in the space for hoses.

Great washer!

I got a fantastic Black Friday deal on this set. I have wanted a front loading set for a long time. The washer does have a longer cycle than my last one, but it uses hardly any water at all, and it is very quiet. They seem to be more gentle on clothes than the regular top loaders. Delivery took a little longer than usual since I bought a gas dryer, but my old set still worked, so that wasn't a problem. This set will save energy and is more gentle on clothes.

I wish our landlord kept the old washer and dryer.

I use my landlords washer and dryer. He bought the Samsung set of washer 3.6 cu Ft and dryer. I am glad that I don't have a family because the amount of loads for just two people is too high. In one load of load of beach size towels I can only do 5 (five) at a time. If I put more than that in it starts to shake and stops.I do notice that I use very little detergent. pretty good investment

I would have liked to see a list of all the extra things we had to purchase in order to have them installed. Instead we had three extra items we needed to purchase with the set to have them functional.

Early yet

I bought this because my 1200.00 LG died after four years and every time I call them I get a robot person being wonderful but lying all the way. This doesn't feel as well built as the lg, but that didn't last, even with an extended warranty. I got this the week before black Friday. It is quiet, lowes did a nice job setting it up. Got this for my new townhome. Very great, and will keep it for a long time. The delivery service of lowes is also great.

So far so good

I've only had the pair a week now but have washed and dried several loads and so far so good, the washing does take a while longer than the older machines top loaders but it spins so well it takes far less time to dry. I love the dry sensor in the dryer, both machines have chimes instead of the buzzer to alert you when they're finished, color is very nice, noise is minimal, on and off switches. Love my New washer and dryer

Yes, it may only have been two weeks that I have had my set but I love them. I was a little worried before I got them because there were no reviews yet. But, I did get the extended warranty just in-case I have any problems and figured that with the money I was saving it was worth the risk.
