I do not recommend.

I found the product to be too granular and not fine enough to fill the gaps properly. Additionally, It also left a significant haze over the pavers despite the removal of excess material prior to the application of water. There is a fine dust from the granules that aggregates in the imperfections of pavers and leaves a dull haze behind. Sorry, that is my experience.

No more sand!

This product was easier to apply than expected, and looks great. I hope to NEVER put sand in my pavers again!

Paver sand

The paver sand works great easy installation little expensive for the amount but I would recommend it. What I do not recommend from the Scranton Lowe’s or the Wilkes-Barre city Lowe’s online ordering and pick up they were terrible to deal with From not answering the phones to delays to not bringing it out to me.

Great product brought brick patio back to life!

Used product to relay the 50+ year-old clay brick patio behind our houes. The gaps between the bricks are very wide, so we used the calculator on Sakrete's website to determine how many buckets to get. It said we needed 36(!), but we "only" ended up needing 28. Make sure you get enough buckets in advance! You don't want to have to scramble the day of, trying to get more. We had to go to three different Lowe's locations to get the amount we needed and had no issues with the colors not matching. ...

Washed out

Have used the product in the past never had the issues this time we used it it washed out the 1st time it rained which was 4 days after we put it down. Contacted the company and they responded very quickly after a few emails and pictures they came to the conclusion it was the joints of course it's the customer's fault. Now every time it rains there is sand all over everything on my patio will not use again

IT TURNS INTO REGULAR SAND.

This is one of the worst products I have ever used and it needs a 0 star review. Put it in the joints of my patio and after ample curing time the first rain storm has literally washed 50 percent away. The rest of the joints feel like wet sand. This product is absolute garbage and now I have to wash it all out and do it again with a quality product. Thanks for the extra work and cleanup sakrete!

Rubbish product

Tried rejointing my paver patio.. Wasted my money on 2 buckets of this because i had to go over the patio twice. Followed the directions to a T but the product wont set in most of the joints. Im left with a sandy mess.. Thanks

never cures

Simply put, this product sucks. I busted my you know what power washing and prepping my pavers and followed the instructions to a tee. Two weeks later it still isnt cured and im bliwing sand with my back pack blower. Also rain and hise water is washing this product out from between my pavers. What a waste of time, effort, and money.

Poor quality--breaking apart in 5 days

Initially very happy with the results but my happiness was short lived--its already showing a gap, which when i probed goes deep and doesnt look like the lower part (deeper section) every solidified.. Disappointed!!

Easy to use

It's only been a week but so far so good. Followed the instructions and everything looks great.

Good product, good color, easy install

the gray is a very nice color; product went down easy, spread around, filled in large spaces/gaps , an 8x14 patio only needed 2 buckets. sprayed with water as instructed after spreading and light blowing with leaf blower, dried and fairly quickly. Only went with 4 stars for now due to have not seen weed prevention. Otherwise easily a 5-star product so far.

Sakrete 40-lb Polymeric Sand

Used this product for weed control on the joints in a new brick and concrete walkway that I built. It worked great, and improved the look of the finished walk. Broom it over the joints, vibrate with a plate compactor, sweep off the excess, wet it down with a light spray, and enjoy the neighbors' comments!

Doesn't set

I used what I thought was the same product 6 years ago and it set into a semi hard grout. This time none of the 10 bins I used set. I have sand that washes out with every rain. I am going to have to blow it all out and use a different product. Waste of time and money.
