Easy to apply and sets pretty quickly. Easy to clean up.

Bad color, inconsistent color, not enough polymer

I bought this stuff to fill in the cracks in my huge paver driveway. The driveway was old and I spend hours and hours digging out all the old dirt and weeds around each of several thousand pavers. Like other reviewers, I have found the color to be nowhere near grey. It is brown, but not consistently. I got two buckets in my lot that were nearly white, and turned grey when watered. Easy

Looks wonderful with small pavers. Relatively flat area, completely dry surface and professionally placed joints it won’t wash out and will set up. My paver sidewalk was installed in 1990 and was never redone until this year. Slight haze the eve of application on older pavers washed away with the next two rainstorms.

Backyard Re-Do

Purchased pavers, paver set, paver base, paver sand, blocks, caps, egg rock, river pebbles, pea gravel to re-do the backyard near the pool. Products were GREAT, delivery timely, way to much work for a 71 year old man although I got a lot of help from family.

Coloration of sand

We found inconsistant coloring between packages. There are no lot numbers. We initially bought 2 buckets and had to buy two more (purchased one at a time). The first two buckets were dark, the third was a little lighter and the 4th was really light. We had already spread the first two before opening the last two. Luckily we decided to mix the last two buckets together so that it wasn't so much of a contrast. The Sand did perform well in regards to spreading and getting hard.

Gray isn’t gray

It does the job but Quikrete brand is much better.

Sacrete Paver Set Polymetric sand

Product is reasonably priced and easy to install but the biggest problem is that when it firms up, it doesn't truly harden, especially after a heavy rain. I had significant peeling and softening of the product 2 weeks after install. The mason had to seal with foundation cement. I'd give it a five on scale of 10 at this point

Easy application

Was easy to sweep into gaps with a broom and set with water. Just be sure and work it in properly and brush off excess before watering.

It works as advertised and looks good.

Worked just fine.

I used this stuff to refill some old and loose joints on my bluestone patio after I power washed. I have to say I don't understand the negative reviews after pouring the sand into the joints with a small garden shovel I sprayed lightly with a spray bottle and in one day the stuff hardened nicely. I would think the people having problems are applying way to much water just a light spray does the job.

Wprst product ever made

This is by far and without question the absolute worst product sold. It completely destroyed our huge paver patio. Avoid at all costs. Total night,are even with carefully following directions. Anyone who reads this should stay far away from this awful product. Words cannnot explain how bad this product truly is.

Ruin your pavers

I purchased this product thinking it would be better for my pavers and this is a warning do not use this product unless you want to ruin your pavers I installed this product according to instructions to the tee and the next day I could tell it was not going to work I re-wet it and it still continue to wash out so I let it go for about two weeks with no rain on it and it seem to harden the first rain we got it washed out and put a haze on the top of all of my pavers A neighbor of mine installs...

Great product, Only one major warning! Make sure the paver's are DRY and that you use latex or similar type gloves to work with, reason is that the polymeric powder activates with "moisture" and if you are on your hands sweeping into tight work space, the moisture from your hands activate and it will have areas of discoloring. Excellent product!

Built a 24'x24' outdoor kitchen area with fire pit. After 28 yards of fill dirt and 5 yards of sand, my wife and I laid 576 paver stones. I then used the paver set for the grouting.....11 40 pound buckets to be exact. I did precisely by instructions....swept into place with a shop push broom, blew the excess 5 times over to remove any remaining dust (with gasoline leaf blower), then sprinkled with hose.
