We have purchased under layment before when installing laminate floors. This time we used this under layment and I have to say this is much better than what we used before. This has more cushion and seems more solid. I'm waiting for the flooring to come in, then we can put this stuff down.

I really like this underlayment. It is really easy to work with. Firstly, it is extremely light weight. It is really thin so that no door bottom and moulding cuts were necessary. it unfolds flat quickly and has a glue strip tape on the bottom to keep it from moving during installation and afterwards. I would highly recommend! I selected this product because I have a small utility room that houses my hot water heater the floor is concrete it's always cold and damp. Service was fast I received it within a few days , the material was of good quality I like the feel of it under my feet and it's already made the room so much feel better.

the floor in my bathroom has been leaking through this was perfect!! Not only did it help with the water it makes the floor so much more comfy on yoyr feet, its fun to walk on my hard floors

The reason I accept this product is because I do floors and I'm open to comparing new products to the ones I use. I liked the texture of this product and feel comfortable using it for a project I have. This product would go nicely in a space 150 square feet or less.

Good quality underlayment, vapor barrier nice

This is very sturdy and well made underlayment. The up-side is clearly indicated, and was the opposite of what I originally expected so that was helpful. The vapor barrier is a good extra touch and is folded and taped very well for clean installation - you definitely want this so that water doesn't find its way to your subfloor. Pay attention to the quantity in the roll as you will need several roles to complete most jobs.

This Stainmaster waterproof underlayment for vinyl plank flooring is awesome. Super easy to install! It protects against moisture, reduces noise between floors. It’s waterproof and protects floors from subfloor moisture and bacteria. A must have before laying vinyl plank.

This waterproof underlayment from Stainmaster is a pleasure to work with. Material is marked which allows installation a breeze. Grid pattern on back makes for straight even cuts. Preinstalled tape holds seams in place, also provides extra layer of waterproofing.

Great underlayment product.

Please look at the images below. This product works wonderfully if installed correctly. Its easy to cut with sharp scissors or a utility knife. Makes the foot traffic below and on the floor quieter. The tape sticks well to what it is supposed to.

Nice cushion , helps with imperfections in floor

I'm using the roll for noise deadening and waterproofing a hallway in our cabin remodel. The floor also has a few irregularities that will help to mitigate under the new flooring. I did not need it for the hallway, but I will be using it on a larger floor. Laying out under layment was fast and easy.

Waterproof and super soft!!!

I like the water proofing for my kitchen floor. Also, it is soft and cushioned. Easy to roll out and can be cut with a simple pair of scissors or tile knife. Goes good with my vinyl flooring.

Great product - easy to use and work with!

Very happy with this product! I found it very easy to maneuver and install verses the unwieldy large rolls we were stuck with before. The grid lines are convenient when you need to cut and/or align with the adjoining piece and it comes with ready to seam tape pre-attached. This is a 2 in1 product that provides both a sound and vapor barrier -- as well as some extra cushioning that helps even out any imperfections if your floor is not 100% smooth/level.
