Would Not RecommendWithin 5 minutes of use it started vibrating extremely bad then stopped and smelled hot. I returned the router which wasn't more then then a paperweight.
Changing the bit is a pain
Would Not RecommendWorks as expected for something in this price range, but changing the bit is a pain. In real router tables, the router can be raised to change the bit. With this table, the router has to be removed from underneath the table and reinstalled every bit change. Not fun.

Disappointed
Would RecommendIf you never will never need a plunge router this is a great deal. However, Skill does not make a plunge for this model router. Its very unfortunate because this is a great price and a decent table for small jobs. If skill made a plunge adaptor for this router it would be a home run purchase.

Good Router for the price
Router itself is nice and solid for the price. I bought this router to go with the Skil router table that you often see it paired with and that's where it falls short for me. The way it mounts to the table puts the speed adjustment and spindle lock on the back side which can make it a challenge to change them. I would have expected that since Skil pairs the two as such a great combo that a those would have been better placed.

This is a strong and well built router. It's easy to use right out ot the box and the manual is well put together and functional. I've only used it to make a few Dados as I don't have a table saw but using a high end 1/2 shaft Dado bit the cut was perfect. The fine tune height adjust ment is very easy to use and percide. The router has a lot of power. Things I wish it had include more click/settings for the rough quick height adjustment, more of a click feel for setting speeds between the markin...
