Almost perfect

I have only used it a couple times but I love the combo. Previously only had a trim router with no table, this allows me to do so much more. The only reason it's 4 instead of 5 is that there isn't a plunge base available for the router. I called Skil and was told there wasn't one available that if I wanted a plunge base I would have to buy that router kit. I wish they offered a plunge base for this router.

Great router, junk table.

Miter gauge slot and miter gauge has so much play in it that it makes it effectively useless. Enough side to side play to throw miter gauge off by at least 4 deg, and if you're trying to use it like a tenner enjoy crooked and inconsistent tongues.

Great tool but inadequate fence

Good stuff but I can’t use the fence, not able to adjust it flat & square. Other than that I’m happy with it

Good little router

great out of the box, easy to use and seems well made

Great value

Assembly was easy and for the money this kit looks great compared to the Kobalt setup I returned. Tabletop adjustment looks good and is a key feature for me. Too new for an extensive review but early test cuts look good. The table is very solid. Great value for the price.

Good tool for the Price

It’s a good price for a decent router. I bought mine for Making signs. But it’ll be nice for other applications as well

Lack of support for product

I previously bought a Model 1810 Skil Router and have used it very infrequently. The plastic brush holder for the motor cracked and the router no longer works. Replacement parts are not available. When I contacted Skil, they stated the 1810 was made by Bosch, and neither supports parts now. Be careful what you buy from SkiL

Good Quality, Good Value

Really happy with this setup so far, and seems to be a good value for the quality of the router itself as well as the table. Easy to set up, and works well enough out of the box. Wish the bolts/plastic “wingnut” caps to secure the feather boards etc. were single pieces of steel instead, but they do the job.

Love the router itself.

The router itself is very nice. Seems to have a lot of power. I have had no complaints with the router. Unfortunately my problem was with the power switch on the router table, It failed. Contacted customer service spoke to some very nice people. Unfortunately they were not able to rectify this problem.

Skil router

Smooth, easy did you open it yet, powerful. Fun to use. It would be better if the on/off switch wasn’t long, making it too easy to accidentally turn on.
