Counter top paint

I thought this would be easy to do. First time DYI, I read the directions but they were not clear, it just said what each step to use. I put about three coats of base coat before I was comfortable, the marble didn’t turn out like I thought it would. The top coat is not shiny, kind of duel. It is water resistant, and an easy to clean up. I figured if I knew what I was doing it would have work better

black came out grey top coat is milky in color in can an on counter top..called company said to use denatures alcohol..didn't work to remove cloudy look only smelt house

Great kit for the money

A little apprehensive starting this project but rustoleum countertop kit made it super easy. Paint rolledbon well with good consistently and coverage which i was pleased with. My marbling turned out OK but i would suggest a decent amount of practice for firat times to get desired look

Easy to apply the base and top coat. Creating the marbling effect was more complicated than expected.

Looks good at first, not durable

I waited until I lived with these counters for around a month before writing this review because I wanted to get an idea of how they will wear. I primed the counters very well as instructed, the application process was pretty easy, the white looks good (not too blue, not too cream), I was happy with the look at first. I waited the full 7 days before using the counters at all. I have been using the kitchen for 3 weeks and there are already many chips in the paint and many stains i cant get up. ...

I don't recommend it for the kitchen. I put it in the bathroom and honestly, I didn't like it because it doesn't have the shine. So I had to buy a separate epoxy gloss, which makes it shine and looks like marble.

Honest opinion

I knew purchasing this, once I started, I had to be all in. The first step is fairly easy. I did put a few coats on for good coverage. Dried quickly in between coats. Hours later I did the veining. This part seems to be very complex to not have it looking like water color painting. If you decide quick enough, you can wipe it off if you dont like it, like within a minute. Best to have someone woth patience, a steady hand and some art skills. Its still not perfect but from afar it looks OK. The 2n...

Not good as promised

Messy, smelly and it’s not easy to apply. It supposed to be for countertops, but if you clean after preparing a meal, for example, the product will peel off…

New Look for Laminate

This countertop kit is good for a fresh update of laminate countertops. I used it in my kitchen. I was a little disappointed that it took 4 coats of the base coat to completely cover my countertops which measure a little less than 40 square feet. So I had to dip into the second kit that was sent. This made the process significantly longer as I waited the recommended 4 hours between coats as stated on the paint can.
