Purchased this a few weeks ago loved the way it turned out had not idea it was going to look this good. I love the final results

Easy to use with simple instructions!

Not enough base coat for 35 sqft of countertop

Bought this kit (white marble) to do our kitchen countertops. The kit states it will cover 75 to 100 sqft of countertop…… you have to do 2 coats of base coat with the white version per the instructions, there is not enough paint in the 30oz can to cover 35sqft with 2 coats…. Now to go spend another $70 on a second kit or just go another route.

Can not be used in Kitchen

Warrning "...Do not prepare and put food directly on surface." The Rust-Oleum HOME Marble Countertop Coating Kit is a decorative surface coating, not a food-safe barrier. Direct food contact can transfer chemicals from the paint or clear topcoat into your food, and cutting or rolling on the surface will easily scratch or ruin the finish. Bad advertising it should be in bold letters that the counter top product can not be used for kitchen countertop.

Good product

Product was easy to apply and directions easy to follow. I gave it a three because after applying the clear coat, items kinda stick to counter top. Nothing I read said this would happen. No paint or anything has come off but it is annoying to have this happen.

Did not like it

We tried to use it and we did not like it. Its not that great product

Great alternative if new counters aren’t possible

Super easy to apply, nice finish.

Use high quality paint brushes and roller.

Easy and fun project. We applied it over a formica top, which needed some minor repairs to flatten it out, but had the whole process done in one day. Couldn't be happier with the end results.
