What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this butcher block oil for its ease of application, beautiful finish, and food-safe properties. Many highlight how straightforward it is to apply with rags or cloths, even for beginners, and note it enhances natural wood grain and delivers a smooth, professional result. Reviewers consistently emphasize its reliability for cutting boards, countertops, and food-contact surfaces, with several reporting years of successful use. Most find multiple coats and light sanding between applications key to durability. A few mention chemical odor during application and note the finish requires reapplication every six months, though most view this as normal maintenance rather than a drawback.

Lower odor and fumes
Would RecommendHave used this many times. Hoes on evenly and while there are still fumes the odor is not horrible. It seals well as I use it as a wine bar and it never stains.

Great product for butcher block
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have butcher block counters in our laundry room that had lust some of their luster due to constant use. This product was so easy to apply and made no mess at all. I also like that the odor was minimal. The product has given some new life to the counters, making them seem new and fresh again. I definitely will do another round of the sealer again to keep them looking their best.

Love this stuff!
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used this after staining a piece of butcher block to use as a countertop in my washroom. It is very simple to use. I ended up applying 2 coats, but should have done 3 just to be on the safe side. However, definitely apply in a well ventilated area where your project can sit while airing out. It took a couple of weeks for the smell to die down.
