Would Not RecommendI applied this to a new end grain cutting board. It hardly absorbed any. I wiped off all the excess, but it still left a sticky mess even after 13 hours of drying.
Make sure you have good ventilation.
I really like the finish this puts on butcher block counters. It enhances the natural beauty of the wood without leaving the same feel as shellac finish on wood.
